The Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property Unit (TTIPU), a unit of the Research Management Office, held a webinar entitled "Copyright and Patent for HEI Educators" last October 30, 2024. Ms. Anna May Ramos, the Director of Adamson University’s Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) and the invited resource person generously shared her expertise to the more than 80 attendees, many of whom were faculty and staff of PNU.
Aside from increasing its production of empirical research outputs, PNU also aims to venture into research and development (R&D) activities with potential for patent and commercialization. The University also plans to create a reward system for faculty members who wish to protect their intellectual assets through copyright and patent. It is because of these plans RMO is introducing IP to the community, an initial step towards the attainment of these goals.
Thank you all for attending the webinar!
