The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) warns the public against individuals who are falsely claiming to act on the advice of the Office of the Commandant or members of the Commandant’s staff.

Reports have reached the PCG regarding unauthorized persons representing themselves as intermediaries endorsed by Coast Guard senior officials to solicit favors or influence official processes.

The Office of the Commandant does not authorize any private individuals or third parties to conduct transactions or negotiate on its behalf outside established channels.

All official PCG communications and directives are conducted strictly through formal mechanisms and authorized personnel.

The public is strongly advised to exercise caution and immediately report any suspicious misrepresentations through the PCG’s official social media platforms or to the nearest Coast Guard unit.

The PCG remains committed to upholding transparency and accountability in all its operations and urges the public to remain vigilant against fraudulent schemes.
