In support of the observance of the 2026 National Anti-Trafficking Awareness Month (NATAM), the officials and employees of Department of Justice - National Prosecution Service, Region XIV (Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao) led by Regional Prosecutor Rohairah A. Lao, Regional Head of the Regional Anti-Child Online Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking Task Force (RACETTF) Region XIV (BARMM), proudly wore blue-colored attire on 27 July 2026 as a symbol of solidarity in the fight against human trafficking and exploitation.

PHILIPPINES KEEPS TIER 1 ANTI-TRAFFICKING STATUS FOR 10TH STRAIGHT YEAR

| The Philippines has maintained its Tier 1 standard in the fight against human trafficking for ten consecutive years, even as online sexual abuse and exploitation of children remains the biggest growing challenge for the Department of Justice.

Undersecretary Nicholas Felix Ty told DZRH News program "Special on Saturday" that the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) draws on practically the entire Philippine government in its work, and that the POGO ban by President Marcos was a landmark move that significantly reduced trafficking-related crime.
