To Remember, To Repent, and To Respond.

As we mark the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, the Marist Schools in the Philippines stand in solidarity with the nation in safeguarding the truth of our history.

Historical memories are sacred. Today, we honor the courage of those who chose conscience over convenience and prayer over violence. As a Marist community, we renew our commitment to forming young people who think critically, act justly, and love generously.

In solidarity with the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), February 25, 2026, is declared an ACADEMIC HOLIDAY in all Marist schools. We encourage our school communities to join in prayer services, reflection circles, and activities that deepen our appreciation for human dignity and democracy.

📚✨ Book Week Celebration 2025 ✨📚

From November 24 to December 5, 2025, Marist School celebrated Book Week with the theme “TeknoBasa: Read. Click. Level-Up!”—an integration of reading and technology that inspired learners of all ages.

The celebration kicked off with the opening of the Book Fair, where a wide array of books and learning materials are made available to all students, teachers, and parents. One of the week’s exciting highlights was the Storytelling Contest, where selected Grade 4–6 students confidently showcased their creativity and storytelling skills.

Adding color and excitement was the Green and Techy Character Parade, as Pre-nursery to Grade 3 pupils brought their favorite book characters to life using imaginative, sustainable costumes creatively enhanced with elements of technology. The following week, Junior High School students joined the fun during the Character Dressed-Up Day, portraying their assigned literary characters through the creative use of recyclable materials.

Another meaningful part of the celebration was the Meet and Greet the Author activity for Grade 11 students, who had the opportunity to listen to Mr. Joel Donato Ching Jacob as he shared his inspiring writing journey.

The celebration concluded with the sharing of books collected during the Book Drive with the Reading Activity Corner for Kids at Diaz Elementary School, Pampanga, extending the joy of reading beyond our campus and into the community. This outreach activity was made possible through a partnership with Regalo Touching Lives - RTL

Other engaging activities such as Bookmark Designing, the Lib Quest Contest, Read-a-thon, and Library Feud made the celebration even more memorable.

Book Week 2025 was truly a week filled with excitement, creativity, service, and a shared love for reading. 📖💙

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this celebration unforgettable. May we continue to keep the magic of books alive! ✨📚

As one Marist community, let us pray for the eternal repose of the soul of our dear Pope Francis, head of the Roman Catholic Church.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace. Amen.
