In today's KASIMBAYANAN activity we learned something special to be valuable and act intelligently aligned to the will of God or else it will fall into sin. Just like in law enforcement, we have to act according to the laws, policies, and rules and regulations so we won't be punished.

Sin is a condition. None is righteous, no not one. Not one person is exempt from its effects or its death sentence. We are trapped by sin, held captive by its power. Our sin is what separates us from God, but it's our self righteousness that keeps us from running to Him for the grace He willingly gives to all who come.

God, It’s only when you really see your sin that you can really see your Savior. When the weight of your sins finally hits you, know this Jesus came to take away our sins, Our sins are real, but so is Jesus’ forgiveness. It’s for us. We're forgiven, confessing the truth about our sins let’s us rejoice in the truth about our Savior. We cannot do enough good work to earn right standing with God. We are all helpless sinners who desperately need to be rescued.

We stand in solidarity with those affected by the tropical storm Crising and are committed to providing urgent support, relief, and resources to help rebuild morale of the community.
With these, the team shows up their helping hands and spirit of heroism. The team helped to load the relief goods so that it could be delivered in the most possible time to the affected communities. They also gave their meals to people on the street despite they also feel hungry.

This simple sacrifices is the much needed character of a public servant to ensure that the people are in safe and caring hands.

Who is your GOAT?

The thing is anybody can be a GOAT even you. You don't need to be expendable, just be yourself and be dependable then someday people will call you The Greatest Of All Time.

We believe that to be able to gain the trust of the public a Police Officer must have this ability of dependability. Today's topic of KASIMBAYANAN educates us on how to improve our leadership skills and to strengthen our confidence to serve and protect the people.

The highlight of today's activity is "Leadership".
According to Matthew 25:21 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'" This verse is part of the Parable of the Talents, where a master entrusts his servants with varying amounts of money (talents) before going on a journey. The servant who invested wisely and doubled the amount he was given is commended by his master.

We have learned that for us to be dependable we need to improve and acquire this values;

1. TRUST TO PEOPLE.
2. PURE MOTIVES.
3. RESPONSIBILITY.
4. SOUND THINKING.
5. CONSISTENCY (CONSISTENT CONTRIBUTION).

Indeed, dependability is a vital values of a Police Officer, we just need to improve this. For this to be possible, we need to;

3.Find someone to hold you accountable.

Therefore we say that we have learned a lot especially on how to be an effective leader that the people expect to serve and protect them with their lives and property.

The EPD MARIKINA TEAM 2, right after the reorientation and debriefing conducted earlier this day, taken immediate action following the instructions of EPD Marikina Head Quarters.

The Team conducted patrolling, roving inspection, and strengthen the police - community relations through giving voluntary help to the public, offering assistance to those people in need, and most especially, appearing respectful, generous, kind, and courteous in the street. This is to show the Marikina that their police was trained as " May Mabuting Asal" just like the citizens of Marikina.

Remarks: The said Team under the Supervision of PCMS Rolando Cornejo is high morale because they were able to help a person in need.

A week of duty needs even a single day of rest to maintain the morale of the team.

Today July 12, 2025 Saturday, the team attended again the Saturday KASIMBAYANAN to uplift the spiritual morale of the team.

Todays lesson is about integrity. We learned that in maintaining integrity you also maintain your image as a Police Officer to the people and as a son to God.
This touches our hearts and promised to carry this lesson throughout our journey as a Police Officer and will passed it to the next generation. Truly, PNP is not just "Philippine National Police" but also "Pulis Ng Panginoon".
