Starting tomorrow, we will be sending out emails to remind you to return your borrowed books. Just bring the book listed back to the library, and you will help us restore them to circulation, and make other library clients happy!

Happy 124th Anniversary of First Philippine Republic Day!

Every January 23, we celebrate the "First Philippine Republic Day" to remember the inauguration of the Malolos Republic in Barasoain Church in Bulacan. The Malolos Republic was established as a result of the Philippine Revolution, which was spearheaded by the Katipunan and resulted in the creation of the first constitution and republican government in Asia. According to the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, the First Republic “catapulted the Filipino nation onto the world’s consciousness carving not only a place among the family of nations but also a distinct niche as the first republic in Asia.”
