In support of the Brigada Eskwela 2026 with the theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” the Marilao Municipal Jail – Male Dormitory, under the leadership of JSINSP JOHN PAUL B MILLEZA, Municipal Jail Warden, successfully participated in and conducted Brigada Eskwela activities at Marilao Integrated Central School.

The activity demonstrated the unit’s commitment to community engagement and nation-building by contributing to the preparation of school facilities for the opening of classes.

Internal Quality Audit

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Regional Office III conducted an Internal Quality Audit at the facility to assess compliance with established ISO standards and ensure the continuous delivery of quality services to its clients. The activity aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and strengthen adherence to quality management principles.

The audit was successfully facilitated under the leadership of JSINSP JOHN PAUL B MILLEZA, Municipal Jail Warden, demonstrating the unit’s commitment to maintaining high standards of performance, accountability, and excellence in public service. The activity further reinforced the organization's dedication to continuous improvement and compliance with the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Blood Letting Activity 🩸🩸🩸

Under the leadership of JSINSP JOHN PAUL B MILLEZA, Municipal Jail Warden, four (4) dedicated personnel from this unit proudly took part in a meaningful Blood Letting Activity — a joint initiative by the Bulacan Provincial Blood Center and the Marilao Municipal Health Office.

Held at the NVG Convention Center, Brgy. Poblacion II, Marilao, Bulacan, this activity highlights our commitment to saving lives and supporting our community.

The DOLE - Integrated Livelihood Program Awarding Ceremony was successfully facilitated by the Marilao Municipal Jail - Male Dormitory under the leadership of JSINSP JOHN PAUL B MILLEZA, Municipal Jail Warden.

The meaningful activity was graced by the presence of
Hon. Jemina M. Sy, Municipal Mayor of Marilao
Mr. Jose Roberto L. Navata, Chief Labor and Employment Officer
Mr. Alex Inza Cruz, Assistant Regional Director of Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office III.

The activity highlighted the strong collaboration between the local government and partner agencies in promoting livelihood opportunities, empowerment, and community development initiatives for the benefit of the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and the community.

The Marilao Municipal Jail – Male Dormitory proudly congratulates the BJMP Football Club for emerging as the Champion during the 8-A-Side Football Tournament held at Maria Aurora Central School from May 15–17, 2026.

Among the outstanding players was our very own personnel, JO1 Gyhan Kloss S Flores, who was awarded the prestigious Golden Glove Award for his exceptional performance and dedication throughout the tournament.

Under the leadership of JSINSP JOHN PAUL B MILLEZA, Municipal Jail Warden, the Marilao Municipal Jail - Male Dormitory successfully facilitated the conduct of the Special Satellite Registration for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) voters.The activity was led by Ma. Victoria A. Parulan,

The activity resulted in:
* 53newly registered PDL voters
*27 PDL voters with reactivated voter status

This initiative aims to uphold and promote the right of every eligible individual to participate in the democratic process through voter registration and electoral inclusion.

2026 Instructional Managers Training for BJMP ALS Implementers

A 3-day blended workshop, conducted both virtually and face-to-face by the Department of Education, was successfully held at Marilao Integrated Central School. The activity aimed to strengthen the instructional competencies, knowledge, and management skills of BJMP ALS Implementers in delivering quality Alternative Learning System (ALS) education programs within jail facilities.

The activity served as a valuable platform for collaboration, professional growth, and the continuous improvement of ALS implementation within BJMP facilities, ensuring quality education opportunities for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
