If you are a bona fide resident of Masbate City currently enrolled in a college or university outside the province, this is your chance to avail of educational assistance!

2. Photocopy of your National ID showing your Masbate City address
3. Photo or scanned copy of your School ID

Please submit the required documents to the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), located on the 2nd Floor, City Hall Building.

Make sure your documents are complete and ready before enlistment. With only 400 slots available, early preparation is highly encouraged!

𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐆𝐎 𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐀𝐍 2026 | 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓’𝐒 𝐀 𝐖𝐑𝐀𝐏, 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘! 🎉

From August to October 1, 2026, the City of Masbate celebrated Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 through a series of meaningful activities that empowered the youth, promoted community involvement, strengthened education, and opened opportunities for skills development and personal growth.

With the spirit of holistic youth development at heart, here are the highlights of our celebration:

🌟 1. LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 KICK-OFF
We officially launched our celebration with a renewed commitment to empowering the youth and creating opportunities for their active participation in community development.

🌊 2. COASTAL CLEANUP DRIVE
Our young volunteers took part in protecting our coastal environment, demonstrating that youth leadership also means taking responsibility for our natural resources and building a cleaner, greener community.

🏀 3. ATTY. OLGA “ARA” T. KHO INTER-SCHOOL BASKETBALL CUP
Through sports, we celebrated teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among student-athletes, proving that the youth can grow not only in skill but also in character and leadership.

📚 4. BOOK GIVING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE STORYTELLING PROJECT
We brought the joy of reading closer to young learners by supporting literacy, encouraging imagination, and nurturing a love for learning through books and storytelling.

🎁 5. TEACHERS’ GIFT-GIVING INITIATIVE BY THE SK FEDERATION COUNCIL
Led by SK Federation President Hon. Kyla Marie E. Bajar, the SK Federation Council extended its appreciation to our teachers through a gift-giving activity, recognizing their dedication and invaluable role in shaping the future of the youth.

🎓 6. 20 YOUTH GRADUATES AND NC II-ASSESSED BENEFICIARIES IN BREAD AND PASTRY PRODUCTION
Twenty successful youth participants completed their training and underwent competency assessment for Bread and Pastry Production NC II, bringing them closer to employment, livelihood opportunities, and a brighter future.

MORE THAN A CELEBRATION, A COMMITMENT TO HOLISTIC YOUTH DEVELOPMENT!

Every activity reflected the importance of developing young people in all aspects of life—from physical well-being and environmental responsibility to education, social awareness, leadership, and economic empowerment.

As we wrap up Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, participating schools, youth organizations, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this celebration meaningful.
