KASUROG SA BAWAT HAKBANG, TUBIG PARA SA KOMUNIDAD: MASBATE 1ST PMFC, NAKIISA SA BAYANIHAN PARA SA MAS MAUNLAD NA KINABUKASAN

MOBO, MASBATE | October 6, 2026 - Muling ipinamalas ng kapulisan ang serbisyong nakatuon sa pangangailangan ng mamamayan nang makiisa ang Masbate 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, sa pamamagitan ng R-PSB Team Sta. Maria, sa bayanihan activity para sa paghahatid ng water hose/pipe patungo sa komunidad ng Barangay Sta. Maria, Mobo, Masbate nitong Oktubre 5, 2026.

Naisakatuparan ang aktibidad sa pakikiisa ng mga tauhan ng R-PSB Team Sta. Maria sa mga Barangay Officials at residente sa manu-manong paghakot at paglalatag ng water hose/pipe mula sa pinagkukunan ng tubig hanggang sa mga lugar na nangangailangan nito.

Hinarap ng mga kalahok ang madamo, masukal, at hindi pantay na bahagi ng lugar upang maihatid at maayos na mailatag ang linya sa kahabaan ng barangay road—isang simpleng gawain na may malaking kabuluhan sa pagpapabuti ng access sa tubig ng mga residente.

Higit sa pisikal na paggawa, ipinakita ng aktibidad ang PNP Focused Agenda partikular sa Community Support, kung saan ang kapulisan ay aktibong nakikiisa sa mga lokal na inisyatibong tumutugon sa konkretong pangangailangan ng komunidad. Sa ganitong paraan, naisasalin ang community policing mula sa presensya tungo sa aktuwal at makabuluhang pakikilahok.

Kaakibat nito ang Project Alagang KA-SU-ROG na nagbibigay-diin sa isang kapulisan na malapit sa mamamayan, may malasakit, at handang makiisa sa mga gawaing nagdudulot ng kapakinabangan sa komunidad. Sa bawat pagkilos, pinatutunayan ng mga Kasurog Cops na ang pagiging katuwang ng mamamayan ay naipapakita hindi lamang sa panahon ng pangangailangan sa seguridad, kundi maging sa mga simpleng gawaing nagpapagaan sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na buhay.

Ang naturang bayanihan ay patunay din ng kahalagahan ng whole-of-community approach, kung saan ang kapulisan, barangay officials, at mga residente ay sama-samang kumikilos upang makahanap ng praktikal na tugon sa pangangailangan ng lugar.

Ayon kay PBGEN RANDY GLENN G SILVIO, Regional Director, PRO 5, ang tunay na serbisyo ay higit pa sa mandato—ito ay pakikiisa, pakikinig, at pagkilos kasama ang komunidad. Sa bawat hose na naihahatid, bawat daang tinatahak, at bawat kamay na nagtutulungan, mas pinatitibay ang tiwala at ugnayan sa pagitan ng kapulisan at mamamayan.

Magtulungan po tayo, komunidad, mamamayan, at Kasurog Cops—sapagkat sa sama-samang pagkilos naibibigay ang mas makabuluhang hakbang tungo sa isang mas ligtas, mas maayos, at mas maunlad na Kabicolan.

PRO 5 STRENGTHENS CONTINGENCY PLANNING TO ENSURE READINESS FOR EMERGENCIES AND UNFORESEEN EVENTUALITIES

The Regional Director of Police Regional Office 5 (PRO 5), PBGEN RANDY GLENN G SILVIO, presided over a small group discussion with concerned Regional Staff to strengthen the Region’s contingency plans and preparedness measures for possible emergencies and unforeseen eventualities.

The initiative was prompted, among others, by recent incidents such as the overturned oil tanker in Barangay Sibujo, Libmanan, Camarines Sur, which underscored the need for timely coordination, preparedness, and clear response mechanisms to mitigate potential risks and protect communities.

The contingency planning covers a wide range of possible scenarios, including natural and human-induced disasters, hazardous incidents, public safety emergencies, and other events that may threaten lives, property, and community security.

Through this proactive approach, PRO 5 strengthens its readiness to anticipate emerging threats, close critical response gaps, synchronize the efforts of all concerned units, and rapidly mobilize the necessary personnel and resources when emergencies occur. This ensures that appropriate interventions are activated without delay, potential impacts are minimized, and the safety and welfare of the community remain at the forefront of every response.

This also reflects PRO 5’s commitment to proactive and responsive policing, consistent with the principle of “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman” and the Alagang KASUROG brand of service.

The activity focused on enhancing public awareness and community engagement on several key programs and laws, including LIGTAS SUMVAC 2026, Republic Act No. 9262 or the “Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act,” the Community Anti-Terrorism Awareness (CATA) program, Crime Prevention Advocacy, Drug Awareness, the Aggressive Campaign on PNP Recruitment 2026, and Republic Act No. 10591 or the “Comprehensive Fi****ms and Am******on Regulation Act.”

RODEO COPS AT DICT, NAGKAISA PARA SA DIGITALLY CONNECTED NA KOMUNIDAD SA MASBATE

Matagumpay na nagsagawa ang Masbate 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) – R-PSB Team Jamorawon, katuwang ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), ng installation at activation ng DICT Free Public WiFi facility sa Barangay Jamorawon, Milagros, Masbate nitong Oktubre 5, 2026.

Sa pamamagitan ng inisyatibong ito, nabigyan ang mga residente ng libre, accessible, at mas maaasahang internet connectivity—isang mahalagang tulong lalo na sa mga mag-aaral, g**o, pamilya, at iba pang nangangailangan ng access sa online education, communication, government services, at mahahalagang impormasyon.

Ang hakbang na ito ay sumasalamin sa diwa ng PNP Focused Agenda, partikular sa pagsusulong ng community-oriented policing, responsive public service, at pagpapalakas ng ugnayan ng pulisya at komunidad. Ipinapakita nito na ang makabagong police service ay hindi lamang nakatuon sa pagpapanatili ng peace and order, kundi aktibong nakikibahagi sa mga programang tumutugon sa tunay at umuusbong na pangangailangan ng mamamayan.

Kaakibat din nito ang mas pinalakas na Project Alagang KA-SU-ROG, kung saan naipamamalas sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng PNP, DICT, Barangay Local Government Unit, at iba pang stakeholders ang isang makabuluhang modelo ng whole-of-community approach tungo sa mas ligtas, konektado, at empowered na pamayanan.

Sa pamumuno ni PBGEN Randy Glenn G. Silvio, Regional Director, patuloy na pinaiigting ng Police Regional Office 5 ang mga programang naglalapit sa serbisyo publiko sa mismong komunidad at naglalagay sa kapakanan ng mamamayan sa sentro ng police service. Dahil ang tunay na serbisyo ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa bilang ng krimeng napipigilan—nasusukat din ito sa mga oportunidad na naibibigay, sa mga buhay na naaabot, at sa mga komunidad na napapalakas.

Mula seguridad tungo sa connectivity, mula presensya tungo sa serbisyo—ang PRO 5 ay patuloy na kumikilos, kumokonekta, at naglilingkod para sa isang mas ligtas, mas konektado, at mas empowered na Bagong Pilipinas.
