An emotional reflection on purpose, service, and leadership became the highlight of the 3rd CID Coordination Meeting as Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) personnel of the Schools Division Office of Masbate were challenged to โLead with Heart and Lead with Joyโ during a session facilitated by educator, life coach, and human resource development practitioner Joseph Noel A. Titar of PRISM Continuing Education and Leadership Consulting Services on September 23-24,2026 at Trios Lake Resort, Palani, Balud, Masbate.
Through meaningful reflective activities, Titar encouraged the participants to look beyond their daily responsibilities and reconnect with the purpose behind their work in education. The session culminated in an emotional moment as CID personnel reflected on their experiences, the people they serve, and their continuing commitment to Masbateno learners and teachers.
The session formed part of the two-day 3rd CID Coordination Meeting held on September 23-24, 2026, at Trios Lake Resort, which brought together CID personnel for reflection, evaluation, planning, and professional development.
The activity was also attended by Schools Division Superintendent Joel E. Caolboy, who commended the CID team for its continuing dedication to serving Masbateno learners and teachers with purpose and commitment.
Caolboy recognized the personnel for consistently carrying out their responsibilities and striving to give their best in delivering programs and services that support schools, teachers, and learners across the division.
Meanwhile, CID Chief Marma L. Capellan led the post-evaluation of two major division activities, the Division Festival of Talents (DFOT) and the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC).
The evaluation provided the team with an opportunity to review the implementation of both activities, recognize successful practices, identify challenges, and determine areas for improvement in future division-wide programs.
The CID also presented its targets and priority activities for the final quarter of 2026. The discussions focused on aligning deliverables, strengthening coordination, and ensuring that planned activities remain responsive to the needs of schools and stakeholders.
Plans for the upcoming benchmarking activity in the National Capital Region on September 27-30, 2026, were also finalized. The activity aims to provide opportunities for the team to observe practices, exchange ideas, and gather insights that may contribute to the continuous improvement of CID programs and operations.
Adding to the learning component of the meeting, PDO II Jomarie Canelas presented the Revised Learning Resources (LR) Portal. The presentation guided CID personnel through the resources available on the portal and highlighted how these materials can support teachers in accessing appropriate learning resources.
More than a coordination meeting, the two-day gathering became an opportunity for the CID team to pause, reflect, evaluate, and realign.
As the division moves into the final quarter of 2026, CID personnel carry with them a renewed sense of purpose and a shared commitment to lead with heart, serve with joy, and continue working for the benefit of every Masbateno learner.
