Under the leadership of Commandant MAJ RODOLFO G PEÑALES JR PA (RET), the Cataingan Municipal College ROTC Unit (CMCROTCU) successfully conducted its Seventh Training Day at the Cataingan National High School (CNHS) Campus, Cataingan, Masbate. The training was guided by Assistant Commandant 2LT ANDRE P CORDERO PA (RES) together with,Sgt Aries R Alayon PA (Res),Sgt Rachelle S Watas PA (Res), Sgt Joanna Dela Cruz PA (Res).
At 0730H, all ROTC Cadets/Cadettes formed up for attendance and basic military drills before proceeding to their assigned areas under the guidance of the Advanced Cadet Officers.
The ROTC cadets/Cadettes conducted Drills and Ceremonies, focusing on the proper use of the Manual of Arms and basic drill movements such as Patakda, Pasulong, and Pasa Masid. They also practiced the movements and formations for the Pass-in-Review, with focus on proper timing, spacing, teamwork, and coordination.
The training helped improve the cadets’ discipline, confidence, teamwork, and skills in military drills. It also prepared them for the upcoming Presentation of Sponsor and Es**rt (POSE) and Pass-in-Review.
At 1130H, a final attendance check was conducted before dismissal.
