💧 DISTRIBUTION PIPELINE REPAIR UPDATE

The Matalom Municipal Waterworks System (MMWS) would like to inform our water consumers that, as of 3:00 P.M. today, August 12, 2026, the repair of the leaking distribution pipeline at the Matalom Public Market has been successfully completed.

Following the completion of the repair, the gate valves were gradually reopened to resume the water supply to the affected areas.

Water service will gradually return to normal, and some consumers may initially experience low water pressure or delayed water supply as the distribution system is being re-pressurized and stabilized.

We kindly ask for the patience, understanding, and consideration of our valued water consumers during this period.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the interruption and appreciate your continued cooperation.

🚨 PUBLIC ADVISORY: EMERGENCY WATER INTERRUPTION

The Matalom Municipal Waterworks System (MMWS) would like to inform all affected water consumers that there will be a temporary water interruption today, August 12, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The interruption is necessary to give way to the emergency repair of a leaking distribution pipeline in Matalom Public Market and to prevent further water loss and damage to the water supply system.

💧 Water Service Interruption:
📅 Date: August 12, 2026
⏰ Time: 1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.
🔧 Reason: Emergency repair of leaking distribution pipeline
📍 Affected Areas: Punong, Zaragosa, San Pedro, Sto. Niño, San Isidro

Water service is expected to resume after the completion of the repair. However, some areas may experience low water pressure or delayed water restoration as the system returns to normal operation.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank our water consumers for their patience, understanding, and cooperation.

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY

We would like to inform the public that, as of 2:30 P.M. today, August 4, 2026, one (1) of the three (3) water pumps at the Agbanga Pumping Station has malfunctioned, reducing our water production to approximately 67.67% of its normal capacity.

As a result, water consumers in Barangays Caridad Norte, Caridad Sur, Agbanga, Itum, Sta. Fe, Cahagnaan, and Tag-os may experience low water pressure or temporary water interruption while the repair is ongoing.

Our maintenance personnel are currently conducting emergency repair works, including the replacement of the damaged water pump with a functioning unit, to restore normal water production as soon as possible.

In the meantime, all affected water consumers are advised to conserve water and store sufficient water whenever water is available in their respective homes.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue.
