Happy Teachers’ Day!

Took a little break from the usual routine and spent the day with fellow teachers.

The day started with a short exhortation from Colossians 3:22–25, followed by a prayer for all teachers. The day continued with team-building activities, laughter, and meaningful moments, followed by some relaxing and enjoyable activities around Greenview Lake.

Thank you, teachers, for your dedication, patience, and commitment to our learners. Your efforts and the difference you make are truly appreciated.

Today, the TNHS School Head, Quenilyn N. Banawan, together with the school's non-teaching personnel, walked to Talboc to conduct a home visit to a couple of learners.

Conducting activities like this helps address and eliminate SARDOs, strengthen parent-school collaboration, and show the school’s concern and care for its learners. It also serves as a way to encourage and motivate learners to continue pursuing their studies despite the challenges and circumstances they may be facing in life.

Sometimes, a simple visit, a conversation, and the assurance that the school cares can make a difference in a learner’s decision to keep going.

As part of the DepEd’s continuing commitment to ensure the preparedness of learners and school personnel, an Active Threat Drill was conducted at Tulaed National High School (TNHS) on September 29, 2026.

Representatives from the PNP–Mayoyao, under the leadership of PCPT ROBLES A. PANITEW, Acting Chief of Police, supervised the drill in partnership with the BLGU officials, particularly the Committee Chair on Peace and Order and on Education, Hon. Jeffrey T. Gannaban and Hon. Jerry T. Ganaban together with Mr. Rommel T. Abbayao, Barangay Tanod.

The drill started with a short briefing from the School Head, QUENYLIN N. BANAWAN, and the PNP personnel, emphasizing the Run-Hide-Fight-Call protocol.

Through this drill, the learners and school personnel were able to learn and practice the proper actions and safety measures to observe whenever an active threat or similar situation occurs. More importantly, the activity reminded everyone to always practice safety first, stay alert, remain calm, and know what to do when a threat arises.
