Barangay San Agustin saw their campaign come to a close in the Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament after a hard-fought loss to Barangay Tanqui. Though they fell short of advancing, the team displayed unwavering determination, teamwork, and resiliency until the final buzzer.

Thank you to our players for proudly representing Barangay San Agustin. This experience will serve as a foundation for growth, improvement, and a stronger comeback in future tournaments.

For those who wish to pay their final respects, a memorial service for our beloved Capt. Nick will be held at Purok 3, Barangay San Agustin, City of San Fernando, La Union. The wake will continue until Saturday, August, 2025, at 7:00 AM.

𝐏𝐚𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭, 𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐚 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤!

Sa isang malungkot na kabanata ng kasaysayan ng Barangay San Agustin, pumanaw na ang ating minamahal na Barangay Captain Nick Ramos hindi lamang isang Kapitan, kundi isang Lolo at Papa ng buong pamayanan.

Kilala si Kap Nick sa kanyang kababaang-loob, malasakit sa mahihirap, at walang sawang panawagan para sa kapayapaan at pagkakaisa. Sa kanyang pamumuno, itinaguyod niya ang isang Barangay na bukas, mapagpakumbaba, at handang makinig sa tinig ng bawat nasa laylayan.

Sa puso ng bawat Agustiños, si Kap Nick ay higit pa sa isang lider. Siya ay naging sagisag ng pag-asa at pagkalinga ang ilaw na nagbigay liwanag sa madilim na yugto ng San Agustin. Sa kanyang pamamahala, naging mas maayos, mapayapa, at mas ligtas mula sa hirap at gulo ang ating Barangay.

Maraming salamat, Papa Nick, sa inyong liwanag at walang kapantay na pag-ibig. Hindi namin malilimutan ang inyong mga salita, halakhak, at mga dasal para sa amin. Paalam, at nawa’y kapiling na ninyo ngayon ang Diyos na buong pusong inyong pinaglingkuran.
