❗️
IMPORTANT ADVISORY:
In line with the National Teachers’ Day tomorrow October 5, 2026 (Monday), the mode of instruction shall be converted to Blended Mode or the Alternative Delivery Mode which means that “FACE-TO-FACE” classes on the herein mentioned day is SUSPENDED for all LEVELS in the municipality.
Anchored on Section 16 of the Local Government Code of 1991 (Republic Act No. 7160), which provides for the General Welfare Clause, it is imperative to recognize our educators’ welfare through appreciating their contribution to community building and over-all development, it is but fitting that we provide ample and opportune time for momentary pause and break for the necessary wellness of teachers and non-teaching staff, without disrupting usual school operations through diverse methodologies of instruction.
Notwithstanding this shift, school heads must ensure that usual classroom instruction shall be ensured uninterrupted through the selected alternative delivery mode. The Public Schools District Supervisor along with School heads must provide clear instructions as to the implementation of this memorandum.
This announcement is in line with the earlier announcement made by Mayor Cyrex Labrador Basalo, RN.
UPDATE: Non-teaching personnel are also included in this shift, (suspension) as school-based instruction mode are suspended, thereby not needing on-site presence of the same.
However, the PSDS and School Heads, in compliance with internal mechanisms may provide additional instructions on this matter.
Thank you!
