While some may belittle this situation as just a simple game or mock our statement, we stand firm in our strength. Some may dismiss this as just a small local game, but as Mayor Leila herself reminded us, it is our barangay’s pride that we are fighting for. Our dignity and passion will never be something to mock.

Please note that we are not releasing this statement to create more drama or hostility with our neighboring barangay. It is not the intention of this post to underestimate or discredit the strength and skills of our opponents, especially since these players have repeatedly represented our municipality in much larger leagues. We deeply respect their skills and talent.

This statement is solely meant to put an end to the issue, clarify the truth, and stop the negative comments and side remarks that our players continue to receive.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Turnover of Waste Containers to the Pawikan Conservation Center and some areas in Barangay Nagbalayong | May 2, 2026

By providing accessible disposal points, we aim to significantly reduce litter and prevent plastic pollution from reaching our waters.

In line with this initiative, additional containers will be placed in various areas across the barangay in the coming days to further strengthen our community-wide waste management program.

We encourage everyone to cooperate and practice proper waste disposal as we work together for a cleaner and more sustainable Nagbalayong.

This successful event was organized by the Barkada Kontra-Bisyo, headed by Christopher Capitly of Nagbalayong NHS, whose leadership and dedication brought this special night to life.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. RR Valdez for serving as one of the Masters of Ceremony, together with SK Treasurer Christian Barry R. Sidon, for keeping the program lively and engaging throughout the evening. Special thanks as well to Juno’s Catering for the delicious food and excellent service, and to Sir Mark Yel Balbuena for capturing the best moments of the night through his photography.

Indeed, it was a magical celebration where friendships were strengthened and the youth shined their brightest.✨

Ready na ang ating bagong gears! We have new Arnis gears and mats, balls for basketball and volleyball, and table tennis set. Note po na ang ating table tennis is now conveniently placed at the court, while the new water drinking fountain will be installed at the plaza for everyone’s use.

These investments aim to provide the youth with a productive environment for physical development. By upgrading, we advocate for a healthy lifestyle and teamwork, ensuring our community stays active and away from illegal vices.
