Returning to his roots, Engr. De Leon is a proud alumnus who completed his primary and secondary education right here, graduating as both the Elementary and High School Valedictorian. Today, he stands as a distinguished academician, researcher, and leader.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor 7 and Assistant School Secretary of the Graduate School at the University of the Philippines, Los Baños (UPLB), Engr. De Leon holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from De La Salle University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from UPLB, where he graduated Rank 3 of his class. He is also a recipient of the prestigious One U.P. Faculty Grant Award for Outstanding Teaching and Public Service.

Beyond the classroom, his impactful research spans sustainability, system simulation, and digital transformation. Combined with his extensive background as a leadership trainer, public servant, and former Student Council Chairperson, his journey stands as a powerful testament to holistic excellence, service, and dedication.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The URS President, together with the VP for Administration and Finance, led the University’s participation in the Executive Briefing for SUC Top Management: Internal Control and Internal Audit for SUCs held on May 19, 2026 at the Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila.
The briefing served as an avenue to strengthen institutional governance, transparency, accountability, and internal audit practices among State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), reaffirming the University’s commitment to excellence and quality public service.
