Caranas Integrated School held the Culminating Activity of the 2025 National Science Club Month (NSCM) Celebration with the theme “SPATIALYZE: Surveying Societies, Sensing Solutions” on September 30, 2025, at the Caranas Multi-Purpose Covered Court, Caranas, Motiong, Samar

This culminating activity emphasized the importance of science in everyday life, especially in addressing the various problems faced by our country and in finding sustainable solutions for the future.

The event also gave recognition to the outstanding talents of the Caranasians who participated and won in various contests related to the 2025 Science Month Celebration.

One of the highlights of the event was the Recyclable Outfit Competition, where students showcased creative attires made from recyclable materials to promote the importance of the 4Rs: Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, and Recover—truly embodying the advocacy through their impressive presentations.

The 2025 National Science Club Month (NSCM) celebration at Caranas Integrated School was indeed a successful implementation and a meaningful culmination of scientific learning and environmental awareness.

As part of the 2025 National Science Club Month activities, Caranas Integrated School conducted a symposium on the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 and SPATIALYZE 2025: Mapping Challenges, Shaping Solutions for Environmental and Natural Resources. Caranas Integrated School invited Ma’am Daylen S. Gabieta, HRMO II, and Engr. Melvin G. Fajarito, MENRO of LGU-Motiong, to serve as resource speakers for the said symposium. The event was held on September 29, 2025 and attended by Classroom, SELG, SSLG, and YES-O Officers and Advisers.

Heartfelt thanks to Ma’am Daylen Sarasara Gabieta and Engr. Melvin G. Fajarito for sharing your expertise, time, and effort in addressing timely environmental issues. We also extend our gratitude to LGU-Motiong, especially to Mayor Rene Anthony Dacanay Cabael, for the unwavering support and commitment to the betterment of our school.

Caranas IS YES-O officers proved that they are excellent. They won in the District Mathematics Statistics Month 2025 Competition held on September 23, 2025 at Motiong National High School.

Caranas Integrated School conducted a Science Quiz Bee – School Level for both Elementary and Junior High School in the ICT Room. The Elementary Level was organized by Ma’am Abi Fatima Maria, Ma’am Kaye Uy, and Ma’am Sapphire RIsh. Meanwhile, the Junior High School Category was organized by Ma’am Jaquelyn Dacutanan, Ma’am Teonalyn O. Dacutanan, and Sir Mark Aaron Arsolon. Here are the winners:

The YES-O Club Officers, together with the SELG and SSLG officers of Caranas Integrated School, took their oath as official officers. Congratulations, YES-O officers! May your term be meaningful and filled with legacy.

The 𝚂𝙴𝙻𝙶, 𝚂𝚂𝙻𝙶, and 𝚈𝙴𝚂-𝙾 officers, together with their advisers—𝓜𝓪'𝓪𝓶 Mailyn Abalos (𝙎𝙀𝙇𝙂 𝓐𝓭𝓿𝓲𝓼𝓮𝓻), 𝓜𝓪'𝓪𝓶 Jennyrose Montillano (𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝓐𝓭𝓿𝓲𝓼𝓮𝓻), and 𝓢𝓲𝓻 Mark Aaron (𝙔𝙀𝙎-𝙊 𝓐𝓭𝓿𝓲𝓼𝓮𝓻)—held a meeting this 4:00 o' clock in the afternoon at Grade 8- Acacia Room regarding the upcoming SPTA and student organization induction. During the discussion, they talked about the necessary preparations to ensure that everything is ready, especially in maintaining the cleanliness of the venue for the induction.
