“So we are always confident, because we know that while we are living in the body, we are away from our home with the Lord. We live by faith and not by sight. We are confident, and we would prefer to leave the body and to be at home with the Lord.”

MSD Seminar
The Moral and Spiritual Division conducted its own seminar on July 7, 2022. The topic was all about the Pastoral and Administration Section, its functions and responsibilities by CSO2 Emmanuel Ybalez. After the talk, an open forum was laid, to clarify questions and promote better understanding among the personnel. The seminar was concluded by the over-all evaluation on the topic, speaker and venue rated by the participants. This was initiated by the Chief of MSD, CT/SINSP (FR) DOMINIC R LIBREA to train and enhance the skills of personnel in giving seminars as preparation to become speakers for further formation programs of the MSD in NHQ as well as in OPPFs.

Rev Fr Eli Rowdy Y Lumbo, SJ was requested by CO1 Clarinda J Narcise to preside the holy mass today at the BuCor Admin Chapel as his farewell mass to us before his sabbatical leave, for him it is not a farewell mass but a thanksgiving mass. Fr Eli inspired a lot of PDL through his homilies and open conversation with them. And leaving what he considered as his (big) family and nurtured spiritually for the past 11 years is not easy in his heart, but maybe God has another mission for him to undertake. As what he had mentioned in his homily today, "there is a certain time to move on". Being part of the MSD family as JO Chaplain, a send off merienda fellowship follows after the mass through the initiative of the staff of Moral and Spiritual Division under the leadership of its Chief Chaplain, CT/SINSP DOMINIC R LIBREA. Thank you Fr Eli for the service and the support you had given to Bucor, to its employees and PDL. May God continue to guide, protect and bless you on your new journey and mission.

"For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them." - 1 Corinthians 9:19

On 29 June 2022, CO1 Maria Rosario Gauani imparted her knowledge about Records and Archive management through an orientation held at Moral and Spiritual Division.

CO1 Gauani is a new staff of MSD from Records Section. Through her initiative, she offered to conduct this information drive to all MSD personnel to help them in their records, archives, filing, dispatching and other work flow for better Records and Archive management.

Collective experience and knowledge from her previous offices was successfully delivered and discussed throughout the orientation.

Through the leadership of the Chief Chaplain, orientation and seminar for personnel development of his staff was made possible.

Thanks be to God!

Today an accident took place near the MSD office and witnessed by MSD staff. A mother and her three kids riding in their scooter were involved in the incident. The staff did not hesitate to help the victims upon seeing their situation on the road and brought them to the vicinity of the office. CO3 Roel Somogod applied first aid to the victims, the father of the kids arrived in the area upon learning of the sad news. The mother were given some advise by the staff not to bring her kids to ride in a scooter because it is dangerous to do so. Despite of the effort of the staff to calm the kids, they continued to cry due to the wounds they sustained from the accident until Fr Gerry Cosal gave them a pieces of food and milk in tetra pack. Helping others boosts your happiness, health, and sense of well-being.
