The shipment for Test Event 1 of the Transfusion Transmissible Infections PT panel has been delayed due to inclement weather conditions and earthquake incidents in some areas since its dispatch on 08 October 2025.

As a result, a decision has been made to change the Test Event 1 schedule of the mentioned program.

Participants are advised to monitor their declared shipping email address during registration for further updates.

All clinical laboratories/blood service facilities participating in the 2025 RITM NEQAS cycle are advised of the upcoming shipment of Proficiency Test (PT) panels and test event schedule.

An email notice will be sent per batch to the participants’ designated email addresses, informing them of the upcoming shipment together with the PT Instructions. Please expect to receive the PT panels within five (5) days after dispatch. Kindly ensure that your designated contact person is available to receive the shipment.

for bacteriology, TB mycobacteriology, parasitology, transfusion-transmissible infections, and SARS-CoV-2. An External Quality Assessment Scheme evaluates the performance of participating laboratories by
checking the proficiency of the technical staff performing tests and/or assessing the integrity of the entire testing process from sample receipt to releasing of test results.

Participation in EQAS as part of an overall laboratory quality assurance program is required under local regulatory policies for securing a license to operate.

In relation to the 2025 NEQAS Registration, please be guided by the following important reminders:

1. All registrations must be completed on or before 31 May 2025 (Saturday) at 11:59 PM Philippine Standard Time through the online portal: https://apps.ritm.gov.ph/neqas. Only registrations submitted within the specified period will be processed.

2. Payments will still be accepted beyond the registration deadline and settlement of fees will be set at a later date.

3. Payment should also be made after registration details have been verified and an official Order of Payment has been issued. Payments made in advance without an Order of Payment, will not be accepted.
