We are proud to share the successful completion of our extension project in Bato-Bato, Narra, Palawan! 🙌

Over the two-day activity, we conducted a series of meaningful and empowering seminars focused on highly relevant topics for the community, including:

🗳️ Role of Media in Elections – Understanding how media shapes public opinion and promotes informed decision-making.
💻 Digital Literacy – Equipping participants with essential skills to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
♀️ Gender and Development (GAD) – Promoting gender equality and fostering inclusive community spaces.
🛡️ VACWC (Violence Against Children and Women Concerns) – Raising awareness and strengthening protection for vulnerable groups.

The BA Political Science Program proudly launches “Strengthening Communities: A Holistic Extension Program for Barangay Bato-Bato Advancement”this November 13–14, 2025 in Brgy. Bato-Bato, Narra, Palawan.

This two-day community immersion aims to:
✔️ Enhance digital literacy and responsible media use
✔️ Promote voters’ education and informed political participation
✔️ Raise awareness on local governance, gender equality, and GAD initiatives
✔️ Strengthen understanding of the VAWC Law to protect women and children
✔️ Foster a safer, more empowered, and more engaged community
