𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗲𝗲; 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗕𝟮𝗕 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀
In celebration of Teachers’ Month 2026, the Narvacan National Central High School (NNCHS) Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) conducted the school-based Tagisan ng Talino at the New Gymnasium on Sept. 29.
The 12 quiz bee teams were composed of one teacher and two students from either the Junior High School or Senior High School Department.
Moreover, the competition featured three levels of difficulty, with 10 questions per level: easy questions were worth one point each, moderate questions were worth two points each, and difficult questions were worth three points each, for a total of 60 points.
After the official tally of points, Efren Cabotage, Danzel Ryan Macayan, and Marc Andrae Cabreros secured the championship title for the second consecutive time, finishing with 32 points.
Meanwhile, Rennier Dameg, Kyle Zedrick C. Adviento, and Jhon Rhed F. Gomez clinched second place with 29 points, while Bernadette Velasquez, Melvin John Degracia, and Andrey V. Casuga landed in third place with 28 points.
“They had a good competition. Everyone played fairly, making the results acceptable. More importantly, the activity was meant to provide a fun experience and honor our educators for their dedication and contributions,” said Justine Cabebe, one of the organizers.
