We proudly congratulate our dedicated public servant, 𝗦𝗲𝗰. 𝗞𝗶𝗺 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗖. 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻, on his appointment as the new 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗗𝗕𝗠).

Prior to his appointment, he served as Undersecretary of the Department of Budget and Management and the Department of Transportation. Having held key leadership roles in the national government, his journey reflects excellence, integrity, and genuine commitment to public service.

As an active leader in the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, he also served as National Executive Board Member, Assistant National Treasurer, and Secretary General. He likewise served as the former Council Scout Executive of the BSP Navotas City Council, a testament to his dedication to leadership, service, and nation-building.

𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 – 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲

The 𝗕𝗦𝗣 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 successfully conducted the 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 – 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 on April 30, 2026, at the Tumana Swimming Center.

Led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝘂𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, the training equipped our Scouts with essential life-saving skills, strengthening their preparedness and response in water-related emergencies.

𝙎𝘾𝙊𝙐𝙏𝙎 𝙄𝙉 𝙎𝙀𝙍𝙑𝙄𝘾𝙀

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹, 𝗕𝗦𝗣, 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 (𝗥𝗘𝗱) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼., successfully conducted a community service initiative at Tanza National High School. Scouts from various schools came together, generously offering their time, skills, and teamwork to help improve the school’s learning environment.

The partnership focused on meaningful and practical contributions, including the construction of teachers’ tables and bookshelves, repair of damaged chairs, and repainting of classrooms—efforts that directly benefit both learners and educators.

Upholding the true spirit of Scouting, the participants exemplified service, dedication, and unity. This initiative highlights how collective action and volunteerism can create lasting, positive impacts on education and the wider community, ultimately helping build a brighter future for all.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟰 | 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘

As the sun set on a day full of learning and action, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗡𝗖𝗥-𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗖 𝟮𝟲-𝟬𝟬𝟲 & 𝟬𝟬𝟳 gathered around the campfire, celebrating unity, camaraderie, and the spirit of scouting.

A perfect way to end Day 4, warming not just by the fire, but by the friendship and brotherhood built along the journey.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟰 | 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

Adventure meets preparedness as 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗡𝗖𝗥-𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗖 𝟮𝟲-𝟬𝟬𝟲 & 𝟬𝟬𝟳 take on the 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 during the afternoon session of the Emergency Service Training Course.

Led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 𝗨𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 (𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗘), 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, the session focused on the proper use of rappelling equipment and safety techniques.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟰 | 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡🚑

Another impactful morning for 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗡𝗖𝗥-𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗖 𝟮𝟲-𝟬𝟬𝟲 & 𝟬𝟬𝟳 as they strengthened their knowledge and skills in First Aid, patient transport, and the proper use of emergency equipment.

The session was led by 𝗝𝘂𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, who guided the trainees through essential concepts and practical applications in handling emergency situations.

Participants also engaged in a CPR simulation, reinforcing correct techniques and quick response actions, Ccritical in saving lives during emergencies.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟯 | 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

The training intensifies as 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗡𝗖𝗥-𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗖 𝟮𝟲-𝟬𝟬𝟲 & 𝟬𝟬𝟳 continue building lifesaving skills in the afternoon session of the 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲.

Participants took part in discussions on 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, led by 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗼 𝗭𝘂𝗹𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗗, followed by a 𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗣𝗥 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 that strengthened their readiness to respond in critical situations.

The session was further inspired by a message from 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝘂𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻, who encouraged the scouts to uphold service, commitment, and compassion in every mission they take.
