In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Parole and Probation Administration (PPA), the personnel of the Romblon Parole and Probation Office- SPPO/OIC Gezer F. Lunzagay and Admin Asst. John Rupert Ferriol, together with the clients actively conducted a coastal clean-up drive on July 8, 2026 at Barangay Tabin-dagat, Odiongan, Romblon

This meaningful activity reflects the PPA's commitment to community service, environmental stewardship, and the positive reintegration of its clients into society. Through collective action, we help protect our coastal environment while fostering responsibility, volunteerism, and a shared sense of purpose.

Together, we continue to build cleaner communities and a brighter futures.

SHAPING FUTURE PROTECTORS | Information Drive 📘✨

Empowering future criminology professionals through knowledge and purpose.

On March 26, 2026, the Romblon Parole and Probation Office conducted an Information Drive for 2nd and 3rd Year BS Criminology students of Erhard Systems Technological Institute (ESTI), Poctoy, Odiongan, Romblon—focusing on community-based rehabilitation and the Philippine correctional system.

Key topics included Presidential Decree No. 968, as amended by RA 10707, along with parole and executive clemency—giving students a clearer understanding of alternative correctional measures.

SPPO Gezer F. Lunzagay highlighted the importance of rehabilitation, reintegration, and restorative justice—core values in shaping a more responsive justice system.

The students actively engaged, showing strong interest and readiness to learn.

With heartfelt appreciation, we thank ESTI, led by Ma’am Rosalina Reginio, for the warm support and partnership in shaping future public servants.

EMPOWERING OPPORTUNITIES | LEAP Implementation 🤝✨

A step forward in transforming lives.

On March 25, 2026, the Romblon Parole and Probation Office successfully implemented the Livelihood and Education Access Program (LEAP) at the Hall of Justice, Odiongan, Romblon—opening doors to skills development, education, and sustainable livelihood for its clients.

The activity was made more meaningful through the presence of Guest Speaker, Atty. Glenn Niño Sartillo, Director III of TESDA Romblon. With passion and purpose, he introduced the wide range of technical-vocational courses and skills training programs offered by TESDA—highlighting their accessibility and real impact on employability and productivity.

More than sharing information, his message served as a strong encouragement for clients to take advantage of these opportunities—reminding them that learning practical skills can lead to better employment, livelihood, and a more secure future.

With sincere appreciation, we thank Atty. Sartillo for his valuable time and for inspiring our clients to take meaningful steps toward personal growth and self-reliance.

The activity concluded with renewed interest and commitment from the clients to enroll in TESDA programs—marking another milestone in promoting rehabilitation through education and livelihood support.
