It is with a heavy heart to know that, Captain Jose T. Arevalo Jr., one of the previous Commanding Officers of BRP Hydrographer PRESBITERO has passed away. His sudden departure has left us stunned and with much sorrow. We will forever remember the memories you shared with us ashore and aboard the Vessel. You have left an indelible mark on the command and all its crew.

The Command extends its deepest sympathies to Capt. Arevalo's family during this challenging time. We cannot fathom the magnitude of your loss, but please know that you are not alone. May the Lord provide solace, strength, and comfort to weather this tempest of grief.

Captain Arevalo, you will forever remain in our hearts and inspire us to chart new horizons.
Rest in peace, Sir, as you sail into the sunset of eternity. ⚓️🌊
