Gordon College proudly shares the success of its accounting graduates in the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE) held on May 24–26, 2026. The college recorded a 27.78% overall passing rate, showing the hard work and dedication of its graduates, faculty, and the whole academic community.
The college sincerely thanks everyone who helped make this achievement possible, especially Dr. Darwin P. Paguio (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Mr. John Angelo Diwa (OIC-Dean, College of Business and Accountancy – CBA), Ms. Geraldine Raydanas (Assistant to the Dean), Ms. Krysta Ly C. On June 01, 2026, the Gordon College Board of Trustees successfully held a Board Meeting attended by all BOT (Board of Trustees) Members led by Hon. Rolen C. Paulino Jr., City Mayor, at the Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation to discuss important matters concerning the continuous development and advancement of institutional quality standards and academic excellence. The meeting covered the following agenda items:

Launching of the Global Grant Project Cervical & Breast Cancer Screening was successfully conducted on May 20, 2026, at the Audio Visual Room (AVR) of Gordon College. The event served as an educational and awareness initiative aimed at promoting the importance of early detection, prevention, and healthcare awareness in combating cervical and breast cancer within the community. It was attended by students from the College of Allied Health Studies (CAHS), along with nurses and health workers, as part of the awareness initiative.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Downtown Olongapo (RCDO) under the leadership of Ghie Azurin, President of RCDO, the session featured a lecture and presentation by Dr. Jaime Rojo on cervical and breast cancer awareness. Meanwhile, Dr. Josefina Bustamante, Chief of Clinics of James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH), emphasized the importance of early detection, regular screening, and proper healthcare practices in preventing cervical and breast cancer. The event concluded with closing remarks from Gordon College President, Dr. Imelda DP. Soriano, who expressed gratitude to all organizers, partners, healthcare professionals, and participants for supporting the success of the initiative and its advocacy for better public health awareness.

Gordon College (GC) and Unibersidad de Manila (UDM) officially strengthened their partnership through the Ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing held on May 13, 2026, hosted by UDM.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Imelda DP. Soriano, College President, Dr. Kristin Joy A. Mendoza, Vice President for Institutional Planning, Development, and External Affairs, Dr. Erlinda Casela-Abarintos, Vice President for Administration and Finance, Mr. Melner Balce, Head of the Information Systems Operation Unit, Mr. Joseph Angelo B. Pusing, Head of the Information and Communication Services Unit and Officer-in-Charge, Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, Ms. Precious S. De Castro, Coordinator for International Affairs and Linkages.
This partnership aims to promote collaboration between the two institutions through knowledge and resource sharing, particularly in information systems, academic services, and institutional development. As part of the engagement, Gordon College showcased its in-house developed systems led by the College of Computer Studies, including the Human Resource Information System (HRIS),Gordon College Learners Academic Management Portal (GCLAMP), Enrollment System, and Admission System, highlighting the institution’s commitment to innovation and digital transformation in information systems. It also encourages the exchange of best practices and supports innovation and technological advancement through cooperative efforts.
The engagement marks an important step in strengthening external linkages and advancing the academic and strategic goals of both institutions.
