To my dearest Olongapeños, family, and friends,

My heart is overflowing with gratitude today as we mark one year since the May 12, 2025, elections. Looking back on the journey of running for higher post, I am reminded that while the path was challenging, I never walked it alone. I am writing this today simply to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

This past year has been a quiet time of reflection for me—a time to listen to my heart and settle my mind. I have spent these months processing everything we experienced together, and in that stillness, I have found a renewed sense of peace and purpose.

I move forward today with a humble spirit and a clear focus. While the results may not have been what we hoped for, this year of reflection has helped me realize that my value lies in my continued commitment to you. I remain deeply aware of the weight of the duties and responsibilities a local legislator carries, and I hold a quiet confidence that I am ready to serve whenever and however I am needed. My heart for Olongapo is not tied to a title, but to a lifelong promise to help our city thrive.

To the Olongapeños who stood firm with me until the very end, and to those who have championed my journey since my first year of public service in 2004: we truly fought a good fight. Your faith in me, spanning over two decades, is a gift I do not take lightly.

Please know that my doors and my heart remain open. I am always here, more than willing to assist and be of service to our beloved city in any way I can.

Mabuhay kayong lahat! 💙✨

"DOCTOR KA BA?" —
It wasn’t a question of curiosity; it felt more like a barrier because I was asking questions and being involved in my mother’s care.
To answer your question, Doc: Yes, I am a Doctor. I am a graduate of Doctor of Public Management (Executive Leadership) and a Candidate for PhD in Public Administration. I also hold a Master’s in Communication.
But despite these titles, I was there simply as a daughter. Naniniwala ako na ang bawat pamilya has the right to understand what is happening to their loved ones. In this digital age, with the help of the internet and AI, hindi mo kailangang maging graduate ng isang specific field to understand things. Knowledge is now accessible to everyone.

Sa pag-aaral ko ng Public Management, I learned that a true leader is never threatened by an informed person. Instead, they use their expertise to enlighten, not to intimidate or look down on others.
This was the most painful part. Our titles and licenses should be used to provide comfort and guidance, lalo na sa mga matatandang umiiwas sa ospital at gamot hangga't kaya.

To the Doctors with a Heart: A huge salute to the physicians who truly listen and show genuine malasakit.
To the Children Supporting their Parents: Huwag kayong matakot mag-research at magtanong. It is your right to advocate for your parents’ well-being.
Hindi man tayo pareho ng specialization, Doc, we both share the duty to serve with sensitivity. Knowledge is most powerful when it is paired with humility and compassion for the family who is already worried.
Serbisyo muna, bago ang titulo. ❤️⚖️

Buti pa ang pasahe, nagmamahal.
Buti pa ang basura, kinukuha.
Buti pa ang exam, may chance pumasa.
Buti pa ang wifi may connection,
...tayo wala! 🤭😆

"Buti pa ang Mandanas Ruling, may devolution. Ang feelings ko sa kanya, no motion!" 💀

Real talk: Governor Dodo Mandanas is the OG of local autonomy. 🫡 Seeing him in action during our PCL activities is always a masterclass in leadership. Because of the Mandanas-Garcia ruling, our local communities finally get the fair share they deserve.
