Delayed Registration under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) for Senior Citizens Conducted in Subic, Zambales

The Philippine Statistics Authority Zambales, in partnership with the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) of Subic and the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) Subic, successfully conducted the Delayed Registration under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) for senior citizens on May 20, 2026 at Subic Gymnasium.

The activity aimed to assist senior citizens who still do not have registered birth records by facilitating their delayed birth registration applications. Through this initiative, eligible beneficiaries were guided on the documentary requirements and proper procedures necessary for the registration process.

Alongside the delayed registration activity, National ID registration services were also provided to the participants, as the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) ID is one of the requirements in the delayed registration process. This initiative helped ensure that senior citizens could conveniently complete both processes in one venue.

Representatives from the PSA Zambales, LCRO Subic, and OSCA Subic worked together to assist and accommodate the participants throughout the activity, reaffirming their commitment to bringing government services closer to the public, especially to senior citizens in the community.

The BRAP initiative continues to support the goal of providing every Filipino with legal identity and access to essential government services and social benefits.

PSA ZAMBALES LAUNCHES PREMIUM ANNOTATION SERVICE

The Philippine Statistics Authority Zambales Provincial Statistical Office officially launched the Premium Annotation Service on May 14, 2026, at its Civil Registry System Outlet in Olongapo City to provide faster, more efficient, and client-centered processing of annotated civil registry documents, including birth, marriage, and death certificates. Introduced under the Civil Registry System–Information Technology Project Phase II (CRS-ITP2), the enhanced service facility covers annotations arising from Republic Act No. 9048, as amended by Republic Act No. 10172, Supplemental Reports, Court Decrees, and Legal Instruments, reinforcing the agency’s ongoing modernization efforts to make civil registration services more accessible to Filipinos.
