Sa araw na ito ay inilagay sa ibabaw ng kanyang kabaong ang Bandila ng Pilipinas sa pangunguna ni CSSU Head Sir Mon Fernandez kasama si CSSU Bawiga, katuwang ang mga personnel ng Barangay Affairs Office sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni BAO Chief Leonila Jimenez.
Ang paglalagay ng watawat ng Pilipinas sa ibabaw ng kabaong ay isang mataas na simbolo ng paggalang, pagkilala, at pasasalamat ng bayan sa mga taong naglaan ng kanilang buhay sa tapat na paglilingkod sa publiko at sa kapakanan ng sambayanan. Ito ay sumasalamin sa kanilang dedikasyon, integridad, at pagmamahal sa bayan na mananatiling inspirasyon sa mga susunod na henerasyon.
Patuloy nating ihayag ang ating taos-pusong pakikiramay, paggalang, at pagmamahal kay Atty. Noel Atienza hanggang sa kanyang huling paglalakbay sa mundong ito. Nawa'y magsilbi itong pagkilala sa kanyang mga nagawa at sakripisyong inialay para sa Lungsod ng Olongapo at sa mga mamamayang kanyang pinaglingkuran.
Ang kanyang interment ay gaganapin sa Hunyo 7, 2026.
Sama-sama nating alalahanin at parangalan ang buhay ng isang lingkod-bayang nag-iwan ng malaking ambag at inspirasyon sa ating lungsod.

Nagsagawa ng mahalagang pagpupulong ngayong araw sa pangunguna ni BAO Chief Leonila "Leony" Jimenez kasama ang buong Barangay Affairs Office (BAO) Personnel upang talakayin ang mga mahahalagang usapin kaugnay ng trabaho, mga programa, at iba pang nakatakdang gawain ng tanggapan.
Sumentro rin ang pagpupulong sa paghahanda para sa isa sa pinakamalaking pagdiriwang ng Lungsod ng Olongapo—ang ika-60 Cityhood Anniversary sa darating na Hunyo 12, 2026.
Tinalakay ang mga kaukulang koordinasyon at suporta na kinakailangan upang maging matagumpay ang pagdiriwang na pinangungunahan ni Mayor Atty. Rolen Paulino Jr. kasama ang iba pang mga opisyal ng lungsod.
Bilang bahagi ng iisang layunin ng lokal na pamahalaan, nananatiling handa at nakaalalay ang BAO sa mga programang magbibigay ng karangalan at kasiyahan sa buong sambayanan ng Olongapo sa paggunita ng makasaysayang ika-60 taon ng pagiging lungsod nito.

Under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Atty. Rolen Paulino Jr., the City Government of Olongapo continues to implement the Libreng Panganganak Program, which aims to provide quality and reliable services to its constituents, particularly to newly delivered mothers and their newborn babies. The James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, under the leadership of Hospital Chief Dr. Jesse Jewel Manuel, is responsible for providing the necessary medical services. Meanwhile, the Barangay Affairs Office facilitates the implementation of the program by assigning dedicated personnel, overseeing the distribution of the , and ensuring the Libreng Hatid service from the hospital to the patients’ homes. The Nanay Kit contains essential items such as vitamins for both mother and baby, powdered milk for mothers, Tiki-Tiki drops, isopropyl alcohol, baby diapers, and aceite de manzanilla. The said Nanay Kit was also personally seen and acknowledged by the Secretary to the Mayor’s Office, Ma’am Sheila Padilla, together with Ms. Robin Rose Binay-Manalo. Barangay Affairs Office Chief Ms. Leonila Jimenez ensures that all assigned personnel are well-equipped and fully prepared to assist and care for the patients and their newborns, making certain that they are safely brought home without any inconvenience.
Led and inspired by Mayor Atty. Rolen Paulino Jr., Day 2 of the Barangay Traffic Aides Seminar and Training (April 28–30, 2026) was successfully conducted, filled with knowledge, discipline, and guidance for all participants.
The City Mayor delivered a meaningful message with a touch of lecture, providing direction to both newly trained and seasoned Deputized Barangay Traffic Aides.
In response to the participants’ request, the Mayor approved the provision of new uniform shirts for the Deputized Barangay Traffic Aides—on the condition that they achieve perfect attendance throughout the entire 3-day seminar.
The program was formally opened by BAO Chief Leonila Jimenez through a prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the Hymno ng Olongapo. A video recap of Day 1 was also presented as a reflection of the learnings gained.
The resource speakers shared valuable insights:
• Mr. Fernando Erese Jr., LGOO VI of DILG, discussed Road Clearing in the New Normal (MC 2022-085)
• Representing Olongapo LTO Chief Mr. Robert B. Alderite, Mr. Lou Matzuda explained LTO laws, rules, and regulations
• Dr. Franco Roldan (Licensed Criminologist) discussed communication skills and conflict resolution
• Major Rodel B. Paragas, OIC-TEG, tackled Vehicular Incident Reporting
• Mr. Gerardo Austria, Instructor-Traffic Aide III of OTMPS, discussed apprehension procedures and ticket issuance
The Mayor Paulino also joined in awarding certificates to the resource speakers, together with BAO Chief Leonila “Leony” Jimenez and OTMPS Dr. Franco Roldan, in recognition of their valuable contributions to the success of the seminar.
The discussions with the City Mayor, along with the photo opportunities, were truly unforgettable—an “epic” experience for everyone.

Magandang araw po! Hindi po humihinto ang ating social services assistance linggo linggo, patuloy po ang paghahatid ng serbisyo para sa ating mga residente.
Before delivering her message, City Councilor Tet Marzan-Estrella energized the seminar with a fun and engaging brainstorm game alongside the Deputized Barangay Traffic Aides. The activity sparked quick thinking, and active participation, creating a lively and dynamic atmosphere in the room.
Barangay Affairs Head Ma'am Leonila Jimenez and staff, together with OTMPS Head Sir Camilo Pablo and staff, witnessed the entire game—and truly, it was fun and engaging for everyone.
Two standout participants emerged as winners, splitting the ₱1,000 cash prize—₱500 each—making the moment both exciting, rewarding, and full of learning. A simple game, yet a powerful way to connect, engage, and inspire.
