National Disaster Resilience Month 2026
“Ligtas, Handa, at Matatag: Sama-sama Tungo sa Mas Ligtas na Kinabukasan.”
The National Service Training Program (NSTP) of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Oroquieta Campus proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, reaffirming its commitment to cultivating a culture of disaster preparedness, resilience, volunteerism, and civic responsibility.
Anchored on the USTP Vision and Mission, the NSTP Program continues to empower students to become competent, innovative, and socially responsible citizens who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to contribute to safer, more resilient, and sustainable communities.
Through disaster risk reduction and management education, emergency preparedness activities, community engagement, and volunteer initiatives, NSTP inspires every student to become an active partner in building communities that are ready to respond, recover, and thrive in the face of disasters.
This National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, let us strengthen our commitment to preparedness, unity, and service. Together, we can make resilience a way of life and create a safer future for everyone.
“Prepared Today. Resilient Tomorrow.”
