Mula sa salitang Cuyonon na “Bagat” o pagsasama-sama, tunay na mabibigyang-buhay ang diwa ng Baragatan sa Gabi ng Kulturang Pilipino habang nagkakaisa ang iba’t ibang kultura mula Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao sa isang gabi ng sining, tradisyon, at pagmamalaki bilang Pilipino.

Ngayong June 13, 2026 | 7:00 PM sa City Sports Complex, tunghayan ang Gabi ng Kulturang Pilipino, isang 2-hour cultural showcase na magdadala sa atin sa makukulay na kwento, tradisyon, at pagtatanghal mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa habang itinataas din ang mayamang kultura at pamana ng Palawan sa puso ng Baragatan Festival 2026.

Asahan ang makukulay na kasuotan, makabagbag-damdaming pagtatanghal, at mga performances na magpapakita ng yaman ng kulturang Pilipino mula sa katutubong pamana, sining, sayaw, at musika na bumubuo sa ating pagkakakilanlan bilang Pilipino.

Tampok ang mga Indigenous Peoples communities, cultural groups, dance troupes, university performers, choirs, at local ensembles mula sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Palawan:

In support of environmental conservation and sustainable community development, the Municipality of Araceli successfully conducted the Tree Growing Activity on May 22, 2026, at Brgy. Dalayawan, Araceli, Palawan, in response to the request of the Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) thru MENRO - Araceli. The activity was held in celebration of the birthday of Hon. Amy Roa Alvarez, Governor of Palawan, and aimed to promote forest restoration, environmental protection, and ecological awareness among stakeholders.

The activity commenced with the assembly of participating personnel from various National and Local Offices at the Poblacion Covered Court at 5:30 a.m., where attendees gathered prior to departure to the designated planting site. Among the participating offices was the Municipal Tourism Development and Promotions Office (MTDPO), whose personnel actively joined the activity as part of the office’s commitment to environmental sustainability and eco-tourism promotion. The office recognized the importance of preserving natural resources as an integral component of sustainable tourism development in the municipality.

The activity showcased strong inter-agency cooperation, with representatives from various offices demonstrating unity and commitment toward environmental stewardship. Necessary planting materials such as seedlings and tools were provided through the support of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), contributing to the smooth and organized implementation of the activity.

The successful implementation of the Tree Growing Activity reflected the municipality’s collective commitment to preserving natural resources and strengthening environmental responsibility. More than a commemorative event, the activity served as a meaningful contribution to the province-wide initiative toward ecological protection and sustainable development.

Overall, the activity was successfully conducted through the cooperation and active participation of all involved stakeholders, reinforcing the shared responsibility of protecting and nurturing the environment for future generations.
