𝐀: Yes. The SSCTI Library provides online references such as EBSCO Online Library. This online database provides access to peer-reviewed journals, research articles, academic papers, and other scholarly resources that support students’ research and academic studies.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The SSCTI Library successfully held a Poster Making Competition in celebration of the 𝟑𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡. Participants from the Basic Education Department – High School crafted vibrant and meaningful posters inspired by this year’s theme, “𝑳𝑨𝑪𝑬-𝑼𝑷: 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 – 𝑨 𝑯𝒖𝒃 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈.”

Ayon sa 2024 Functional Literacy, Education and Mass Media Survey (FLEMMS) na ibinahagi ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), 93.1% ng mga Pilipinong nasa edad 10 hanggang 64 ang may batayang karunungang bumasa't sumulat (basic literacy). Subalit, humigit-kumulang 70.8% lamang ng mga Pilipinong nasa edad na ito ang may kakayahang umunawa. Ang 22.3% na puwang ay nagpapakita ng katotohanan sa gitna ng mataas na porsyento ng literacy rate sa Pilipinas— may kinakailangang punan; may patlang na kinakailangan ng kasagutan.

Sa ating pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Pagbasa, alalahanin natin ang ating layunin: ang kagustuhang matamasa ang kalidad ng edukasyon na kayang magbigay-daan sa bukas na puno ng pag-asa. Ipinagdiriwang natin hindi lamang ang araw ng pagbabasa, kundi pati na rin ang kagustuhang matuto, tumuklas, at magnilay.
