The Palo Children's Library was first established on the 30th of October 1998 through the joint effort of the GIANTS Club of Palo and Neighbors Abroad, the official Sister City organization of Palo Alto, California. Since its establishment, it has been serving as an open library to the community while providing college scholarships to selected students residing in Palo, Leyte.
