LOOK: The Department of Education Region VIII, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment, officially launched the Government Internship Program (GIP) โ ARAL Program, engaging GIP interns as ARAL Tutors in support of literacy and numeracy development among learners in Eastern Visayas.
The launching of this meaningful initiative highlights the strong collaboration between DepEd Region VIII and DOLE in addressing one of the most pressing concerns in basic education โ improving the foundational literacy and numeracy skills of learners.
Through the ARAL Program, GIP interns will serve as learning support tutors who will help strengthen the academic performance and learning recovery of learners, particularly those needing additional assistance in reading and numeracy.
DepEd Region VIII sincerely expresses its gratitude to DOLE for its unwavering support and commitment to education through this partnership initiative. This program is a testament that when government agencies unite with a shared purpose, greater opportunities are created for learners and communities alike.
Together, let us continue working hand in hand in building a brighter future where every learner is empowered through quality, inclusive, and accessible education.
