We are inviting everyone to join the 2023 Pintados Festival Merry Makers and Get a chance to win Php 30,000!
GUIDELINES
โข The Merry Makers category is open to schools, student, professional or cultural organizations, clubs, families/ clans, business groups.
โข There should be a minimum of 30 participants per group
โข Each group should be identifiable through a placard curried by its leader or through vertical streamer at the head of the contingent.
โข The members of the contingent must be identifiable through a common head band, cap, ribbon, shirt or costume
โข Participants should have tastefully designed tattoos on their faces and/or body prior to the parade.
โข Registration fee of five hundred (P500.) pesos shall be collected from student, NGO, cultural, and family or clan groups. Non- registered groups will not be allowed to join the parade.
โข Professional organizations shall pay the registration fee of one thousand ( P1,000) pesos while any business group shall be charged five thousand(Php 5,000) pesos for their marching contingent and additional two thousand (Php 2,000) pesos for an accompanying float.
โข Motor vehicles except those used as floats are not allowed.
โข Pintados 2023 is a dance parade and thus, dancing may be in any dance genre and accompanied by live or canned music.
โข The order of the parade is according to the order of registration. Thus, those who register at a later date shall also be assigned numbers after the last registrant.
โข Registration for the Merry Makers shall be accepted beginning June 10 until its deadline on June 21 at the Pintados Foundation Satellite Office located at SMED Center, Sen. Enage St. Tacloban City.
โข Streamers and placards shall be provided by the participating contingent.
โข Painting of non-members of the contingent is strictly prohibited unless the non-member has granted permission to be painted.
โข Prizes at stake:
1st place โ Php 30,000
2nd Place: Php 20,000.
3rd place: Php 10,000

Refers to choreography, movement, formation, music and chants
โข Personal Adornment | 30 pts
**Costumes 5 pts
**Hand props 5 pts

Behavior, group discipline of individual members of the contingent
and of the whole contingent.
