🏠The NHA Treasury Main Office, through Ms. Gharlie P. Gayanilo, Acting Senior Financial Planning Specialist and Audit Team Leader, together with Ms. Anna Riza R. Dela Cruz, Senior Financial Planning Analyst and Audit Team Member, successfully conducted the Cut-Off and Audit/Examination of Cash and Accounts of the Accountable Officers of the Samar I/Northern Samar District Office.

This activity underscores NHA's commitment to transparency, accountability, and sound financial management in the delivery of public service.

🏠 HIGHLIGHT | The National Housing Authority (NHA) Region 8, through the Leyte 4,5/Southern Leyte District Office, successfully conducted the Pre-Relocation Orientation and Raffle of House and Lot Packages for Yolanda Permanent Housing Program beneficiaries of Las Casas del Flor Housing Project in Brgy. Anislag, Isabel, Leyte.

The activity provided beneficiaries with important information on the housing program, including project orientation, documentary requirements, occupancy rules and regulations, relocation and resettlement processes, and the guidelines on the disposition of developed lots with housing units under NHA MC No. 004. Representatives from LEYECO V and the Isabel Water District also shared information on power and water utility services within the housing community.

Messages of support were delivered by Hon. Allan Romero, Chairman of the SB Committee on Housing and Development; Atty. Benjamin S. Pongos, Jr., Municipal Mayor of Isabel, Leyte; and Engr. Ericson S. Delloro, District Manager of the NHA Leyte 4,5/Southern Leyte District Office.
The activity concluded with the raffle of house and lot packages, marking another significant milestone toward providing safe, secure, and permanent homes for qualified Yolanda housing beneficiaries.

🏠On June 2, 2026, the National Housing Authority (NHA) Region 8, together with the NHA Leyte 4,5/Southern Leyte District Office, conducted a Local Inter-Agency Committee (LIAC) Framework Orientation in Julita, Leyte.

The orientation was facilitated by Mr. Efren A. Buranday Jr., Senior Resettlement and Development Officer of NHA Region 8, and was attended by officials and representatives of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Julita, including department heads, personnel from the Mayor's Office, and other key stakeholders. Also present during the activity was Hon. Aaron J. Palabyab, Mayor of Julita, Leyte, whose participation underscored the local government's commitment to the effective implementation of housing and resettlement programs.

The activity aimed to strengthen stakeholders' understanding of the LIAC framework and emphasize the vital roles of partner agencies in the implementation of housing and resettlement initiatives. Through the orientation, stakeholders gained valuable insights that will further enhance coordination, collaboration, and support for the successful delivery of housing programs and services to intended beneficiaries.

The NHA Leyte 1, 2, 3/Biliran District Office conducted a coordination meeting with Hon. Mayor Gina Merillo, together with the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, Municipal Assessor, Municipal Building Official, and Municipal Administrator of the Municipality of Tanauan, Leyte.

The meeting served as an action-oriented discussion aimed at addressing the current status of the subject properties, identifying appropriate solutions to existing concerns, and expediting the completion of the project for the benefit of its intended beneficiaries.

Through strengthened collaboration and commitment among all stakeholders, the NHA continues to work towards the timely and successful implementation of its housing programs.

May 29, 2026 — The National Housing Authority conducted the raffle of House and Lot Packages for the initial sixteen (16) beneficiaries of the Silago Yolanda Permanent Housing Project, located in Brgy. Poblacion, District II, Silago, Southern Leyte.

The activity was graced by Hon. Lemuel P. Honor, Municipal Mayor of Silago, Southern Leyte, Engr. Clemente A. Dayot, NHA Regional Manager, and Engr. Ericson S. Delloro, District Manager of the NHA Leyte 4,5/Southern Leyte District Office.

The raffle activity was preceded by a series of preparatory activities, including a Pre-Relocation Orientation for the qualified beneficiaries, during which they were oriented on the Housing Features and Specifications of the project, the Guidelines on the Disposition of Developed Lots with Housing Units, and the Occupancy Rules and Regulations under the Yolanda Permanent Housing Program.

The Silago Yolanda Permanent Housing Project forms part of the government's continuing commitment to provide safe, secure, and permanent housing for families affected by Typhoon Yolanda.

TODAY | 🏠The National Housing Authority (NHA) Region VIII headed by Engr. Clemente A. Dayot, Regional Manager conducted a courtesy call and meeting with Hon. Harris Christopher Mendoza Ongchuan, Provincial Governor of Northern Samar, to discuss the status of the proposed KAUSWAGAN Village Project in Brgy. Cablangan, Mondragon, Northern Samar.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to present and discuss the issues and concerns raised by the Baybay Homeowners Association, Inc. of Purok 7, Brgy. Baybay, Catarman, Northern Samar.
The activity underscored the commitment of both the Provincial Government of Northern Samar and the NHA in strengthening collaboration and coordination toward addressing housing concerns and advancing sustainable community development for the benefit of the affected residents.
