General information
The first Buri Youth Organization President was Arnulfo Sugbo, which lasted for one year. During his term, the then two youth factions - Buri East and West, were united. Together with the SK, the Organization also initiated the preparation and installation of the Barangay's decoration for the Christmas Festival of that year.
A year after, Ogie M. Gatela took over the position as the Buri Youth Organization President. Aside from the barangay activities that the organization continuously participated and conducted, it was also the year when it started to join activities in the municipal level. Buri Youth Organization joined the Bantay Kalibungan para han Guinhangdan Hill 522 on it's 2nd year, which aims to instill in the minds of the youth ecological protection and preservation.
April of 2007, the Buri Youth Organization successfully hosted the Bantay Kalibungan para han Guinhangdan Hill 522 with Arjay M. de Quiros, as President and Nestor Requiez as Vice-President leading this advocacy. Since then, Buri Youth Organization has been actively participating in this annual activity.
The Buri Youth Organization. also conducted and organized a Talent Competition last 2010 which aimed to showcase different talents of Paloanons. That phenomenal event was such a success that the name of the organization has made it's mark in youth oriented events in the municipality. On that same year, the organization supported in constructing the various entries of Barangay Buri in the Palo Christmas Festival.
With all the programs and events that the organization conducted and supported, it continuously provides the avenue to discover their full potential, from them to become a good and productive members of the community.
