On September 18, 2026, personnel of the Quezon Provincial Cybercrime Response Team, led by PCPT Edwin A. Sapungan, Team Leader, under the supervision of PCOL Jerry V. Empizo, Chief, RACU 4A, conducted a lecture on Cybercrime Awareness, Online Scams, Cybersecurity, and NVE-related Online Risks for residents, force multipliers, and barangay officials during the 2nd Semester Barangay Assembly held at the Barangay Covered Court, Lucena City, Quezon.

The activity aimed to strengthen the participants’ awareness of common cyber threats, online scams, and NVE-related online risks while promoting responsible digital practices, critical thinking, and effective cybersecurity measures to help prevent cyber-related incidents.

PMGEN Andre P. Dizon, Acting Director, PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, emphasized, “Cybersecurity begins with awareness. By equipping communities with the knowledge to recognize online threats and practice safe digital habits, we strengthen our collective efforts to prevent cybercrime and promote a safer digital environment.”

On September 17, 2026, the Ilocos Norte Provincial Response Team, led by PCPT Mark Jhosen M. Macaspac, Team Leader, under the supervision of PCOL Greg T. Guerrero, Chief, RACU 1, in coordination with the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) Office of Batac City, conducted a lecture on Cybercrime Awareness, Cyberbullying, and Nihilistic Violent Extremism (NVE) for high school students of Batac National High School–Payao Campus, Brgy. Payao, Batac City, Ilocos Norte.

The lecture aimed to enhance the participants’ awareness of cyberbullying, online threats, and cyber hygiene while promoting responsible use of digital platforms, safe online practices, and critical thinking in identifying and avoiding deceptive online content and other cyber-related risks.

The Catanduanes Provincial Cyber Response Team, led by PMAJ Angelo A. Babagay, Team Leader, under the supervision of PCOL Gilbert E. Remo, Chief, RACU 5, in coordination with the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) of the Catanduanes Police Provincial Office (CATPPO), conducted a Cybercrime Awareness Lecture at Catanduanes State University.

The lecture highlighted cybercrime laws, Nihilistic Violent Extremism (NVE), online threats, and responsible digital citizenship. It also underscored the importance of vigilance and collaboration between the PNP and the academe in strengthening cybersecurity awareness, preventing cyber-related offenses, and promoting a safer school community.

The Quezon Provincial Cyber Response Team, under the supervision of PCOL Jerry V. Empizo, Chief, RACU 4A, conducted a Cybercrime Awareness and Prevention Seminar themed “School’s Preparedness on Cyber Attacks” for teachers of Lucena Dalahican National High School in Lucena City, Quezon.

The seminar focused on cybercrime prevention, online safety, Nihilistic Violent Extremism (NVE), bomb threats, and other cybercrime-related incidents that may affect children and the school community. The activity aimed to equip teachers with practical knowledge to recognize online threats, adopt appropriate preventive measures, and help safeguard their students from cyber-related risks.

On September 11, 2026, personnel of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 10 (RACU 10), under the direct supervision of PCOL Casan C. Ali, Chief, RACU 10, served as resource speakers during the “Cybercrime and Anti-Bullying Awareness Seminar” conducted by Xavier University–Ateneo de Cagayan Junior High School in Cagayan de Oro City.

The activity aimed to enhance students’ awareness of online threats, cyberbullying, and harmful online behaviors while promoting responsible digital citizenship, safe and ethical use of digital platforms, and awareness of the legal consequences of cyber-related offenses.

On September 11, 2026, personnel of the Bukidnon Cyber Response Team, led by PCPT Ryan Braser G. Condeza, Team Leader, under the supervision of PCOL Casan A. Ali, Chief, RACU 10, conducted a lecture on Cybercrime Awareness and Nihilistic Violent Extremism (NVE) during the 1st Bukidnon Educators’ Congress held at the Bukidnon Sports and Cultural Complex, Laguitas, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

The activity aimed to strengthen educators’ understanding of cybercrime prevention, responsible digital citizenship, online safety, and legal accountability. It also emphasized the vital role of educators in guiding learners toward responsible online behavior, recognizing potential cyber threats, and fostering a safer and more secure digital environment within the school community.
