The activity provided PIT students with a meaningful opportunity to relax and recharge after midterm examinations through engaging activities, including ๐‹๐š๐ซ๐จ ๐ง๐  ๐‹๐š๐ก๐ข and a ๐’๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ. The Laro ng Lahi featured five games: Kadang-Kadang, Chinese Garter, Sack Race, Calamansi Relay, and Longest Line Challenge, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among students. ๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽ‰

Beyond the fun and friendly competition, the celebration emphasized the importance of mental well-being, meaningful connections, and a supportive school community. It also highlighted the value of balancing academic responsibilities with personal wellness, giving students a chance to breathe, bond, and feel a stronger sense of belonging. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Attendance is mandatory for all students and will be monitored and recorded by the SSG officers. Furthermore, all Friday asynchronous classes are suspended from 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon to allow students to participate in the scheduled activities.

Supported by students from different colleges, the appeal seeks reasonable accommodations that would allow LGBTQIA+ students to wear uniform options aligned with their gender identity and express themselves through personal grooming, while observing decency and respecting institutional rules.

Through dialogue with the PIT administration on October 7, 2026, student concerns regarding existing gender-based uniform regulations were raised and discussed. The administration expressed support for the request, emphasizing the importance of observing proper and appropriate dress.

The PIT-SSG recognizes that meaningful progress begins with listening to students, engaging in respectful dialogue, and working collaboratively toward inclusive solutions. We believe that every PITian deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect, regardless of gender identity or expression.

As the voice of the students, the PIT-SSG will continue to advocate for student welfare and support initiatives that foster a campus community where everyone feels heard, valued, and respected.
