Matapos ang tax amnesty program ng pamahalaan sa ilalim ng Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA), mas pinahaba ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Hilagang Samar sa pamumuno ni Gobernador Harris Ongchuan, ang pagbibigay ng tax amnesty sa mga lupain at iba pang ari-arian o real property sa loob ng Northern Samar, sa ilalim ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan Ordinance No. 29, Series of 2026. Ang ordinansa na tinawag "The Northern Samar Real Property Tax Relief Ordinance of 2026", ay inisponsoran ni Board Member Don L. Abalon at sinang-ayunan ng lahat ng mga miyembro ng SP.

Layunin ng pamunuan ni Gob. Ongchuan kasama ang Sangguniang Panlalawigan na pinangunguluhan ni Vice Gov. Clarence Dato, na maibsan ang pinansyal na pasanin ng mga may-ari ng lupa, sa pamamagitan ng “condonation” o hindi pagsisingil ng interest, surcharge, at penalty sa mga hindi pa nababayaran na Real Property Tax (RPT) sa probinsya bago naging epektibo ang ordinansa. Inaprubahan ni Gob. Ongchuan noong July 6, 2026 ang nasabing palisiya.

Sa ilalim ng ordinansa, hindi na magbabayad ng interest, surcharge, at penalty ang mga kwalipikadong nagbabayad ng buwis, basta’t mabayaran ang "principal tax due" o kabuuang halaga ng kanilang Real Property Tax. Ang benepisyo na eto ay maaaring ma-avail sa loob ng isang taon o hanggang Hulyo 6, 2027.

Hindi naman saklaw ng Tax Amnesty ang mga mga sumusunod:

• Real property na naibenta na sa public auction dahil sa hindi pagbabayad ng buwis sa tamang oras;

• Mga ari-ariang may tax delinquency at binabayaran sa ilalim ng compromise agreement; at

• Mga real property na sangkot sa mga kasong dinidinig sa hukuman na may kaugnayan sa real property tax delinquency

Isinaalang-alang ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa programa ang mga epekto ng patuloy na pagtaas ng singil sa kuryente sa Northern Samar na nagdudulot ng malaking pinansyal na pasanin sa mga kabahayan, negosyo, at iba pang sektor, kasabay ng Executive Order No. 110 na nagdeklara ng State of National Energy Emergency.

Para sa karagdagang impormasyon at proseso ng pag-avail. makipag-ugnayan lamang sa Provincial Treasurer's Office o sa Municipal Treasurer's Office kung saan matatagpuan ang inyong mga ari-arian.

Subay san Section 30 san RPVARA, gin-ootorisar san gobyerno an amnestiya sa real property tax o diri pagsukot san penalidad (penalties), surcharges ngan interes sa mga buwis sa tuna (real property tax) nga natirok antes nagin epektibo an balaud san July 5, 2024.

Pero diri sakop sini nga Tax Amnesty an mga masunod nga propriyedad:

*Gin-auction para mabayaran an mga unpaid property taxes
*Mga propriyedad nga nahidadabi sa compromise agreement para sa delinquency payments, ngan
*Adton api sa mga kaso tungod sa real property tax delinquencies.

Salit gin-aaghat an mga real property owners nga pahimulusan ini nga higayon miyentras may amnestiya pa, antes bumalik an regular schedule san sukot sa real property tax. An amnestiya dako nga higayon para maibanan an mga obligasyon dara san mga penalties, interest ngan surcharges sa buwis san tuna.

Bisitahon an iyo tagsa nga mga Municipal Treasurer’s Office o an Provincial Treasurer’s Office para san dugang nga kasayuran bahin san Tax Amnesty.

The Provincial Government of Northern Samar, through the Provincial Treasurer’s Office, respectfully informs all taxpayers that July 5, 2026 marks the final day of implementation of the Real Property Tax Amnesty under Republic Act No. 12001 (RPVARA).

After this date, the computation of Real Property Tax obligations will revert to the regular schedule, inclusive of penalties, surcharges, and interests on delinquent accounts.

We strongly encourage taxpayers to avail of this amnesty program, which provides a rare opportunity to settle obligations free from accumulated charges. By doing so, you not only ease your financial burden but also contribute directly to the development of our province—supporting education, health services, infrastructure, and other essential public programs.

𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗷𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆

The Local Government Unit of Pambujan held a simple yet meaningful commemoration of Araw ng Kagitingan to honor the bravery and sacrifice of our Filipino heroes.

Led by Mayor Owen Lamberto L. Siervo, the program commenced with a Flag Raising Ceremony accompanied by Mr. Wiro Wetingco, followed by the Panunumpa sa Watawat led by MSgt Neldy Ampong. The Wreath Laying Ceremony was conducted by Mayor Siervo, with the Philippine National Police (PNP) offering a 21-gun salute in tribute to the heroes who fought for the freedom we enjoy today.

In his message, Mayor Siervo emphasized the importance of unity and service: "May this occasion inspire all of us to continue serving with integrity, courage, and compassion. Let us remain united in our shared responsibility to build a stronger, safer, and more progressive community."

The ceremony was attended by employees and department heads of the LGU, together with personnel from the PNP Municipal Station, BFP Pambujan, and the 2nd Northern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company.

As the community remembered the sacrifices of the past, Mayor Siervo reminded everyone that heroism continues in everyday life, through our actions, service, and love for our nation.

𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬

In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 116 and to allow government employees to properly observe Maundy Thursday and Good Friday on April 2–3, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Pambujan announces the following work arrangements for Wednesday, April 1, 2026:

1. Work-from-Home Arrangement
All LGU offices shall implement a work-from-home arrangement from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN, in compliance with existing laws and regulations.

2. Suspension of Work
Work in government offices shall be suspended starting 12:00 NN onwards.

3. Delivery of Essential Services
Offices and personnel involved in basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital public services shall continue operations under usual or necessary arrangements to ensure uninterrupted service to the public.

We encourage everyone to observe this schedule and take this time for reflection and preparation for the Holy Week.
