LGU NEWS | KOICA Orients Pambujan BHWs on TTCF and Transportation Voucher Programs

Representatives from KOICA, Ms. Sigrid Nova Vida Labid, Project Officer for Northern Samar, and Mr. Shernan Jaboli, Project Officer for Samar, conducted an orientation for Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) on the implementation of the Timed and Targeted Care for Families (TTCF) Program and the Transportation Voucher Program on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

The TTCF adopts a family-centered, community-based approach to ensure timely healthcare interventions throughout the First 1,000 Days. It covers all 26 barangays of Pambujan, with focused implementation in the 12 GIDA barangays and continuing activities in the remaining 14 poblacion and non-GIDA barangays.

Meanwhile, the Transportation Voucher Program targets pregnant women, children under five, and emergency cases in GIDA barangays to address transportation barriers and improve access to maternal healthcare, facility-based delivery, immunization, and emergency referrals.

These initiatives are supported by the Municipal Mayor of Pambujan and facilitated and coordinated by the Rural Health Unit (RHU)–Pambujan, in partnership with BHWs and barangay stakeholders, to ensure accessible, timely, and quality healthcare for every family.
