Committed to connecting people across generations through science and technology, DOST Pampanga, in partnership with the Batch ’84 Alumni of Sto. Rosario Elementary School in Angeles City, continues to create opportunities where knowledge becomes more accessible to young learners and communities through 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗, bringing learning resources closer to students of SRES and empowering them to move forward through innovation and education.

STARBOOKS, or the Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS, serves as DOST’s digital library-in-a-box that provides thousands of science, technology, engineering, environment, agriculture, and health resources even without internet connection.

This deployment marks a meaningful milestone as the first STARBOOKS collaboration in the province made possible through the support and partnership of a school alumni association, attesting how different generations can work together to strengthen access to education for the youth.

This big leap FORWARD in expanding science and technology initiatives across communities reinforces the shared commitment to make innovation more accessible, inspire lifelong learning, and equip the next generation with tools that will help them dream bigger and achieve more.

Together with the 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 - 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧, the 𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 successfully facilitated a 2-day 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 for our partners who are members of the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟑, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. and the 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐈𝐧𝐜.

It is our pleasure to present Additive Manufacturing technologies to the furniture industry in Central Luzon through AMCen CL's Unit Head, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐳𝐢𝐞 𝐂. 𝐒𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐢𝐭. The participants enjoyed in-depth discussions, fora, and actual hands-on 3D printing sessions throughout the training which took place at the Deco Central Showroom in Clark Freeport Zone from May 25-26, 2026.
