The 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻, under the leadership of 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗨. 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇 𝗝𝗿., proudly congratulates 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙤 𝙂. 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝙄𝙄𝙄 of Pandan, Antique, for being named 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟰𝗣𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻, representing the Province of Antique.

Rosendo was recognized for being a good example to his fellow 4Ps beneficiaries through his compliance with the program’s conditions and his contribution to the development of his community. He received a Plaque of Recognition and ₱10,000 cash prize during the awarding ceremony held on September 24, 2026, in Iloilo City.

The 1st Runner-Up came from Malay, Aklan, while the 2nd Runner-Up came from Jordan, Guimaras.

In his closing remarks, 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 4𝙋𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢, 𝙈𝙧. 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙨𝙖, encouraged the awardees to continue pursuing their dreams, reminding them that with determination and the support of their parents and the program, their dreams can become possible.

Hog raisers from various barangays of Pandan gathered at the Liberman Sports Complex on Wednesday for a consultative meeting organized by the 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗔𝗟𝗣𝗥𝗔).

The meeting brought together local hog raisers to discuss important concerns affecting their livelihood, animal health, and the sustainability of the local hog industry. It also provided an avenue for the raisers to raise concerns, share experiences, and participate in discussions concerning the hog-raising sector.

One of the major topics discussed was 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙉𝙤. 83, 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 2026, issued by 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗦. 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿, particularly the prescribed temporary minimum farm-gate price of ₱𝟭𝟳𝟬.𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗴𝘀.

𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗮 led the discussion on the Executive Order, explaining its provisions and emphasizing its purpose of protecting and providing support to hog raisers. The discussion also highlighted the importance of fair and transparent transactions within the local livestock industry.

The 𝗔𝗟𝗣𝗥𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗥. 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗴 reminded the hog raisers to appreciate and support the initiatives of Governor Javier, particularly the issuance of the Executive Order. She also encouraged members who have concerns or issues to communicate them first to their association officers, who will consolidate and relay these concerns to ALPRA for appropriate action and discussion.

Updates on 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 (𝗔𝗦𝗙) and biosecurity measures were likewise discussed, including the importance of disease prevention, proper reporting, and compliance with applicable veterinary and livestock regulations. The participants also tackled the 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘆-𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗟𝗣𝗥𝗔 and proceeded with the 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Meanwhile, 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗨. 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇 𝗝𝗿. expressed his appreciation for the organization of ALPRA and encouraged its officers to remain active. He also led the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officers of the ALPRA Pandan.

He assured the hog raisers that the 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, as long as activities comply with existing laws and regulations, and expressed his hope for the association’s success.

The consultative meeting marked another step toward building a more organized, informed, and resilient community of hog raisers in Pandan, with strengthened coordination between local livestock stakeholders and the government.

A historical marker for the monument of 𝙂𝙚𝙣. 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙤 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙨𝙞𝙣 𝙁𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙣 was unveiled in Barangay Bagumbayan, Pandan, Antique, on Monday, September 21, in a ceremony honoring the legacy and historical contributions of one of Antique’s notable figures.

The ceremony was led by 𝙂. 𝘼𝙡𝙫𝙞𝙣 𝙍. 𝘼𝙡𝙘𝙞𝙙, 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙣𝙪𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙏𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙥 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 (𝙉𝙃𝘾𝙋). In his message, Mayor Estoperez expressed his appreciation to the employees and personnel of the Local Government of Pandan, as well as the national government agencies that took the lead in the planning, preparation, and implementation of the activities that made the event possible.

The program featured the unveiling of the historical marker and the laying of flowers, a tribute to Gen. Leandro L. Fullon, and the presentation of the historical narrative.

The unveiling marks an important occasion in the preservation of Pandan’s historical heritage, providing present and future generations with a tangible reminder of Gen. Leandro L. Fullon’s place in the history of Antique and the Philippines.

Students and teachers of the 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙮 (𝙄𝙅𝘼) visited Pandan, Antique on Friday, September 18, for the 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗘), an educational activity designed to provide students with firsthand learning beyond the classroom.

Before proceeding to the different destinations around the municipality, the IJA students and teachers were warmly welcomed by Mayor Engr. Tomas U. Estoperez Jr., Vice Mayor Plaridel E. Sanchez VI, Sangguniang Bayan Members Hon. Raymund Nonato V. Gumboc and Hon. Gaynor Briones-Dionela, Ms. Maya Lobland of the Peace Corps, and Tourism Operations Officer I Mr. Marvin L. Bautista.

The IJA students participated in various heritage, cultural, environmental, and nature-based learning activities across Pandan. Grade 9 and Grade 12 followed the same itinerary, while Grade 11 had an additional stop at Naranjo Water Park, with all groups visiting key sites including 𝘚𝘵. 𝘝𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘍𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘩, 𝘙𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘰. 𝘙𝘰𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘰 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘸 𝘞𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘚𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨.

To help guide the students throughout their visit, the Municipal Tourism Office assigned tour guides to each grade level, ensuring that the learners gained meaningful insights from every destination and activity.

In his message, 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇 expressed his appreciation to IJA for choosing Pandan as one of the destinations for their learning experience. “𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘯,” the mayor said, encouraging the students to enjoy their visit, make meaningful memories, and leave with a positive impact from their experience.

He also reminded the students to be careful and make the most of their time in the municipality. Mayor Estoperez hoped that the students would remember Pandan as “𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦,” carrying with them not only memories of their visit but also a deeper appreciation of the community and its people.

The RILE activity highlights the value of experiential learning, allowing students to learn through actual observation, interaction, and exploration outside the traditional classroom setting.

𝟓𝟔 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄

A total of 𝟱𝟲 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻𝘀 received medical and burial assistance through the 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗔𝗜𝗖𝗦) 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 during an assistance distribution held at the Pandan Municipal Building on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

The assistance was facilitated by the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗠𝗦𝗪𝗗𝗢) in coordination with the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗠𝗧𝗢), with the support of the Local Government Unit of Pandan headed by 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗨. 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇 𝗝𝗿.

The assistance was provided to individuals and families needing financial support for medical expenses and burial-related costs.

Representing Mayor Estoperez Jr., his Secretary, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗣. 𝗗𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻, conveyed the Mayor’s message to the beneficiaries and expressed the LGU’s continued support for Pandananons facing difficult circumstances.

The initiative forms part of the LGU Pandan’s continuing efforts to provide timely assistance and social services to residents in need.
