In line with the 52nd Activation day celebration of Marine Battalion Landing Team-1, the 1st Marine Company, led by 1LT MARK T BALDAZAN PN(M) was adjudged as the MBLT-1's Best Rifle Company 2024. The best rifle company is composed of various criteria which include excellence in administration, intelligence, operations, logistics, communications and civil military operations.

Also, during the MBLT-1 Battalion Sportsfest 2024, it was also the 1st Marine Company who was hailed as the Overall Champion among all other companies of MBLT-1. 1MC also won as Champion for Basketball event.

On May 15 2024, during the post-celebration of the 52nd Activation day of MBLT-1, the Best Rifle Company streamer was awarded by BGEN NESTOR E NARAG JR PN(M), the Commander of 2nd Marine Brigade, while the perpetual trophies were awarded by COL ARIEL O QUERUBIN PN(M)(GSC)(Ret), the 16th Commanding Officer of MBLT-1 and a living recipient of the Medal for Valor award.

The hard work and dedication of 1st Marine β€œAlpha” Company, together with the support and trust of our civilian partners, truly manifested in these achievements. Congratulations!

β€œWelcome to the Unang-Una Family”

The Marine Battalion Landing Team-1, led by LTCOL NEPTHALIE C PAPA PN(M)(GSC), received the newly reported officers and enlisted personnel with a ceremonial handshake as a sign of welcoming to their new home at HMBLT-1, Brgy. Batu-Batu, Panglima Sugala, Tawi-Tawi.

The Marine Battalion Landing Team-1 completed its volleyball match ICOW the Battalion’s Sportsfest 2024 as part of their Pre-Anniversary activities. In the photo, one of the players of 1MC jumped and spiked at the ball, giving them a winning strike as the Volleyball Champion of the said Battalion Sportsfest.

HEADQUARTERS, PHILIPPINE MARINE CORPS, TAGUIG CITY – Newly graduates of Sergeant Major Course made courtesy call to Commandant, Philippine Marine Corps, MGEN ARTURO G ROJAS PN(M) on 13 March 2024.

During the said call, MGEN ROJAS PN(M) imparted guidance as they venture into new roles in the Marine Corps. His guidance gave emphasis on identifying areas for improvement, continuous physical and mental training, maintaining the high standards of military discipline and leading by example.

β€œYour subordinates will look to you for guidance, inspiration, and direction, so lead with integrity, humility, and a commitment to excellence.”, said MGEN ROJAS PN(M)
