Today, we joyfully celebrated the birthday of our Department Head, Ma’am Vivian Ancheta Gabriel, at the CSWDD Office with a heartfelt surprise. Truly, the one who was meant to be surprised ended up surprising all of us with her genuine happiness and gratitude.

We extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who sent their video greetings. Your thoughtful messages made her celebration even more meaningful and truly touched her heart as she celebrates her “Decade of Grace, Faith, and Gratitude.”

We are truly blessed to have Ma’am Vivian as our leader. Through her guidance, we have learned countless valuable lessons, both professionally and personally. May God continue to bless you abundantly, together with your family. Indeed, “Health is Wealth.”

March 17, 2026 – The Parañaque City Council for the Protection of Children (PCCPC) successfully conducted its 1st Quarterly Meeting at the People’s Event Hall Conference Room.

The meeting gathered key stakeholders and representatives from various offices and partner agencies to discuss updates, programs, and initiatives focused on promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children in the city. Key agenda items included the review of ongoing child protection programs, presentation of accomplishments, identification of current challenges, and planning of strategies for the upcoming quarters.

The activity served as a vital platform for strengthening collaboration among members and reaffirming the council’s commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and child-friendly environment in Parañaque City.

Today, March 17, 2026, the City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) of Parañaque City, in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR), conducted the distribution of Fuel Subsidy for Tricycle Drivers from different barangays of the city.

This activity aims to provide financial assistance to tricycle drivers who continue to serve the community despite the rising cost of fuel. The subsidy will help support their daily transportation services and ease their operational expenses.

The distribution was carried out in an organized and systematic manner to ensure that all qualified beneficiaries from the various barangays of Parañaque City received their assistance.

The City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) successfully conducted the Kick-Off Activity for the National Women’s Month Celebration through an “Advocacy Activity and Women’s Bazaar.”

The activity aimed to promote women’s empowerment, gender equality, and support for women entrepreneurs in the City of Parañaque. The advocacy activity highlighted the importance of recognizing the role of women in community development and encouraged active participation in programs that advance women's rights and welfare.

The Women’s Bazaar showcased products made by local women entrepreneurs and women’s organizations, providing them an opportunity to promote and sell their goods while supporting their livelihood and economic empowerment.

Through this initiative, CSWDD continues to strengthen its commitment to uplifting women, promoting their talents and skills, and supporting their economic opportunities as part of the National Women’s Month Celebration.
