A moment years in the making—today, a mother and son are finally reunited in Marcos, Ilocos Norte. 🤍
After two decades of being apart, their long-awaited embrace marks a powerful story of love, hope, and healing.
Through the dedicated efforts of CSWDD–Bahay Kalinga, headed by Ms. Lourdes N. Conol, RSW in coordination with MSWDO Marcos, Ilocos Norte, our client has been successfully reintegrated with her son in Sitio Banuar, Barangay Ferdinand.
This meaningful milestone was made possible through the assistance of the Parañaque City Health Office, led by Dr. Darius J. Sebastian, PQUE HEMS personnel, Mr. Flaviano Jimenez Jr., Mr. Levi De Loyola, and Ms. Michelle Tan, Barangay La Huerta Health Center, and the unwavering support of the City Social Welfare and Development Department - Paranaque City under Ms. Vivian A. Gabriel, RSW, MSW, along with the Office of the City Mayor Edwin L. Olivarez.
Together, we continue to bring families back where they belong—home. 💛

The 2nd and 3rd year students from Olivarez College brought creativity and compassion to Bahay Kalinga through their livelihood outreach program, “PISOBILITIES: Handog Kabuhayan, Puhunan ang Kaalaman.”
The activity encouraged Bahay Kalinga residents to create beautiful beaded accessories such as bracelets, empowering them with practical skills for small and sustainable livelihood opportunities. The students will market and sell the handmade products both online and face-to-face, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting the needs of Bahay Kalinga residents.
