PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco was recognized with the โ€œBest Contribution to the Gaming Industryโ€ Award at the SiGMA Asia Awards 2026 held on Monday, June 1 at the Conrad Manila in Pasay City.

The award was received on his behalf by PAGCOR Senior Vice President Daniel C. Cecilio during the gala ceremony, which honored individuals and organizations that made significant contributions to the growth and development of the gaming industry across Asia and beyond.

The SiGMA Asia Awards is one of the highlights of the annual SiGMA Asia Summit, which brings together gaming regulators, operators, suppliers, and industry leaders from around the world.

WATCH: PAGCOR, in partnership with Seagulls Flock Organization, Inc. (SFO), launched the 24/7 National Problem Gambling Helpline on May 26, reaffirming the agencyโ€™s commitment to responsible gaming and player protection in the Philippines.

The NPGH (02-8248-9568) will help those struggling with problem gambling to connect with experts, such as licensed mental health professionals and para-counselors.

PAGCOR, in partnership with Seagulls Flock Organization, Inc. (SFO), launched the National Problem Gambling Helpline, with the aim to address the issue of gambling addiction in the Philippines.

The NPGH (02-8248-9568) will serve as a 24/7 confidential support and counseling for those individuals experiencing gambling problems, as well as for their families.

The launch was attended by officials from Winford Manila Foundation, Inc.; NewCoastLeisure Foundation, Inc.; Dongwon Heritage Foundation, Inc.; and Thunderbird Foundation, Inc.

This one-stop hub will help gambling addicts to connect with experts in the field, including licensed mental health professionals and para-counselors.
