The SK Federation of Pasay City invites you to join the SPOKEN POETRY CONTEST with a theme "SERBISYONG PAGMAMAHAL PARA SA TAPAT NA PAGLILINGKOD" 🫶

WHEN: February 27, 2024 (Tuesday, 6PM)
WHERE: Pasay City Hall Lobby Entrance

*Duos are acceptable

HOW TO REGISTER:
1. Register at the SK Federation Office, 4th flr. Rm 418 Pasay City Hall F.B. Harrison (until February 25, 2024) or coordinate w/ your respective SK Chairperson;
2. Bring your Barangay Certificate (PURPOSE: TO VERIFY RESIDENCY);
3. Bring a photocopy of your ID.
4. Submit your final piece on February 26, 2024 at the SK Federation Office or to your SK Chairperson.

CRITERIA:
1. Open to all Kabataang Pasay ages 15-30 years old.
2. The spoken poetry must be an original composition, in English or Filipino. Any quote from other writers may be used provided that proper attribution is made of work and the author.
3. The entry must illustrate, interpret, emphasize, and be relevant to the theme: "Serbisyong Pagmamahal Para sa Tapat na Paglilingkod".
4. Sounds, instrumental or music background is allowed to complement the delivery, but should not distract from the piece and the performance. No deduction shall be made if the contestant chooses not to have any musical background.
5. Each contestant will be given a maximum of 3 minutes to recite or deliver his/her piece. Although no deduction shall be imposed on the contestant for the exceeding seconds, it is highly expected by the organizer that all contestants shall follow by the rules of the contest.
6. The spoken poetry must be delivered from memory, any movement shall be confined only on the stage.
7. Attire appropriate for the spoken piece shall be worn during the contest.

THE WINNERS WILL RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION AND THE FOLLOWING CASH PRIZES:

1ST PLACE: PHP 10,000
2ND PLACE: PHP 5,000
3RD PLACE: PHP 3,000

Maaring i-download ang voter registration application forms mula sa www.comelec.gov.ph at magdala ng valid government-issued ID bilang proof of identification. Hindi na tatanggapin ng COMELEC ang company/employer’s/employee’s ID
