The DFA Ladies Foundation, Inc. offered the most awaited free Wellness Services for DFALF members and DFA personnel on 26 March 2026 at DFA Temporary Headquarters, Pasay City.

The event, in partnership with The Philippine Wellness Alternative Therapies Society (PhilWATS), was conducted in celebration of International Women’s Day and National Women’s Month, with the objective to promote the physical and psychological well-being of DFA personnel.

The one-day free alternative wellness services were availed of by 70 female and 41 male DFALF members and employees. Among the most-vailed of services were the traditional and holistic therapies such as hilot and acupuncture, as well as therapeutic, stress-relieving, and relaxation massages.

This wellness program was conducted by certified wellness practitioners and licensed massage therapists from PhilWATS, thereby supporting Philippine alternative medicine practitioners.

DFALF also welcomed nine (9) new DFALF members. To date, DFALF has 846 members.

Secretary of Foreign Affairs and DFALF Chairperson Hon. Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro administered the oath of office of the newly-elected Board of Trustees of the Department of Foreign Affairs Ladies Foundation, Inc. (DFALF) on 23 January 2026 at the Office of the Secretary Conference Room.

The DFA Ladies Foundation, Inc (DFALF) held its annual General Assembly and celebrated its 29th Foundation Anniversary on 16 December 2025 at the DFA Headquarters, Double Dragon Tower, Pasay City. The event was participated in by the 2025 DFALF Board of Trustees, Incoming Trustees, and DFALF members at the Home Office and via online from the Consular Offices, and Foreign Services Posts.

Through a video message, Secretary of Foreign Affairs and DFALF Chairperson Hon. Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro shared with the members the Foundation’s thrusts and priorities which includes the strengthening of its Scholarship Programs. DFALF is currently finalizing its partnership with even more schools to expand educational opportunities to the children and dependents of members in the lower income bracket. Secretary Lazaro also informed the members that the DFALF partnered with DSWD to broaden its financial assistance program by serving as a conduit to the latter’s assistance programs for eligible members. The Board of Trustees and the 931 members were also appreciated for their commitment to and support of the Foundation. “As we prepare for DFALF’s milestone 30th anniversary next year, may we continue to embody “Compassion in Action,” our compass in planning and implementing the Foundation’s programs and projects”, said the Secretary as she invites all DFA Personnel to support and join the DFALF.

The DFALF will hold its Annual General Assembly and 29th Anniversary Celebration on 16 December 2025 (Tuesday) , 2:00PM at the Ground Floor Halls ABC, DFA Headquarters, Double Dragon Tower.

DFALF members are requested to join the General Assembly. Members in the Home Office and OCA are encouraged to attend onsite. Members in COs and FSPs may also join the activity online via Google Meet.

The DFA Ladies Foundation, Inc. (DFALF), in collaboration with AVON Philippines, conducted the DFALF Personal Branding Day, a personality development and self-improvement activity, on 15 September 2025 at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Double Dragon Tower, Pasay City.

The activity aimed to upskill the DFALF members and personnel of the DFA on professional image, business etiquette, social manners, proper communication, dress code, and creating their unique personal brand.

Advanced make-up techniques and tips were shared to the participants of the Personal Make-up Workshop.
