AFP Welcomes Strong Public Support for National Defense Efforts

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) welcomed the results of the latest Tugon ng Masa (TNM) nationwide survey conducted by OCTA Research from March 19 to 25, 2026, which showed that 76 percent of adult Filipinos support the government’s efforts to defend the country’s territory and sovereign rights, including the West Philippine Sea.

Conducted nationwide, the survey showed the strongest support in National Capital Region at 83 percent, followed by Luzon at 77 percent, underscoring the strong public backing for the protection of the country’s sovereignty and national interests.

The AFP remains committed to performing its mandate with professionalism, operational readiness, and adherence to international law in order to safeguard the nation’s territorial integrity and support a peaceful and rules-based regional order.

AFP Ranks Among Top Trusted Government Institutions in Latest TNM Survey

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) welcomes the results of the latest Tugon ng Masa (TNM) nationwide survey conducted by OCTA Research from March 19 to 25, 2026, which show that 72% of adult Filipinos trust the AFP, while 70% express satisfaction with its service performance.

The AFP noted that these results place the institution among the most trusted and best-performing government agencies in the country, reflecting sustained public confidence in its mandate and overall performance.

Conducted nationwide across the National Capital Region (NCR), Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the survey shows that the AFP’s trust and performance ratings have remained steady over the past three quarters. Regionally, the highest trust (75%) and satisfaction (73%) ratings for the AFP are recorded in the Visayas.

The AFP expressed its appreciation to the Filipino people for their continued confidence and support, emphasizing that public trust serves as a vital motivation for its personnel to further strengthen professionalism, accountability, and excellence in service as it fulfills its constitutional mandate.

TANGERE SURVEY | PAF LEADS PUBLIC TRUST, REINFORCES CREDIBLE AIR POWER

In the latest independent Tangere survey conducted on March 18–21, 2026, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) registered a 65.86% satisfaction rating and a 63.45% trust rating. These figures highlight the sustained trust of the Filipino people in the PAF’s mission and performance, and affirm the shared commitment of all Armed Forces of the Philippines Major Services to national service.

Amid evolving challenges in the West Philippine Sea, the PAF remains as a key force provider—delivering decisive air support, sustained maritime patrols, and credible deterrence through modern capabilities, while also serving as a vital humanitarian lifeline during disasters.

The Philippine Air Force expresses its profound gratitude to the Filipino people for their continued trust and confidence. The Philippine Air Force Human Resource Management Center officially publishes the list of successful applicants who passed the Airmen Qualifying Examination (AQE) for Special Enlistment (SE) CY 2026 and Candidate Soldier (CS) 2026-Bravo conducted nationwide from 28 April to 30 June 2025, and the Top Licensed Criminologists who submitted their complete supporting documents. Congratulations on reaching this important milestone in your application!

As the next step in the selection process, successful applicants are required to undergo the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) at designated PAF Major Bases. Please check the link provided and verify your FULL NAME to know your PFT venue. (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YwjUnNhK4-HHyoz8KRSO_OWTjWSi1UL2/view?usp=sharing)

On the other hand, applicants may opt to take the PFT at the nearest PAF Base from their current location, provided they signify three (3) days prior to their original PFT schedule. (https://forms.gle/TA8NozE8dBU5aeX68)

Applicants who are due for PFT shall bring the following during their scheduled PFT:
a. 2 Valid IDs;
b. Blue Ballpen;
c. Personal Water; and
d. Extra Shirt.

ATTIRE:
Plain White Shirt, Blue Shorts, and Rubber Shoes (Females are required to wear sando and cycling shorts)

NOTES:
A. All applicants due for PFT are required to accomplish the provided link (https://forms.gle/CKAhSiP4rTK1jnV5A) for their tariff sizes for military uniforms.
